I got this Dog/Wolf in a trade recently but I'm not sure about the value of them since they're older pets!

It had an extended release until August 2009, so it's worth the 3 month rule going by that date. (The Aug. '09 date.)
Any demand for it is up to you as demand varies from to user. Any personal values are also up to you. :)

If you no longer follow the now discontinued rare's list and value it based on year it would be worth the 3 month rule or 2 Late 2009 Rares
