Vanessa's eyes widened, scooping up charmander to have him latch onto her shoulder. "I suggest you run!" she called out to the hooded figure behind the bushes before turning and bolting. She zig zagged through the forest and winded up lost, the pokemon still behind her. She ran into a cave to hide, the pokemon now passing as she let out a relieved breath. Then she heard a few pebbles be thrown, and the girl turned, in fright and confusion.

Once I get more pokemons, you're going back into your home, but since I only 2 of you, I let you out to have some fresh air." Mysia smiled. She picked up Chickpea and held him in her arms while Leafeon walked beside her, "Ok, Pokemon lab to Route 1 Kanto City, here I come!" She sighed happily.

Fallon twisted her hair nervously as the professional spoke to the group, "Welcome new trainers, I'm Professor Juniper!" Her speech was short and to the point. Everyone here was about to meet their first partner pokemon and prepare to set out on their journeys. "With introductions out of the way, lets get to the exciting part!" Fallon's heart jolted and she fell in line with everyone. One by one the line got shorter. She watched as the professor would ask what starter type the trainer preferred and then, after receiving an answer, would tap a few keys on her tablet causing the machine behind her to come to life. The machine was obviously some form of pokeball transport system, as it produced just that, a pokeball containing a choice of pokemon.
"Alright, next up!" Fallon was watching another trainer snuggling her new friend, an apparent water type judging by the shell it clasped to its stomach. "Excuse me, are you ready dear?"
Fallon came out of her daze upon realizing the professor was speaking to her, "I'm sorry! Yes! Ah, um.." She should have been thinking of what type of pokemon she wanted, but she was a serial procrastinator when it came to live changing decisions. She glanced at the smiling professor and the other trainers around the room. "Fire... no, too hot. Water? That might be good.." Suddenly, as though something clicked, Fallon knew. "Grass!" She spoke confidently for the first time that day, her nerves settled and excitement took its place. The machine stirred and a pokeball materialized.
As Fallon reached out for the pokeball the professor chimed, "Congratulations! Why don't you meet your new partner?" Fallon nodded and released the pokemon from it's capsule. "Fallon, meet Snivy- Oh? How odd! Your Snivy seems to have a rare coloration!" Professor Juniper leaned over the serpentine pokemon with curiousity. The pokemon stared back for a moment before seemingly sneering and turning to greet Fallon.
"Hello there!" A huge smile was spread on Fallon's face, she was already in love with her partner. His coloration was charming, special. "I'm going to call you Elysian!" The newly deemed Elysian gave out a chirp of appreciation as he snuggled into Fallon's leg. Firstly giving him a pat on his head, Fallon picked Elysian up and thanked the professor. Together the duo then headed out for their adventure, Elysian curled on Fallon's shoulder.

“Sni Snivy” Elysian said happily, enjoying the company she had now acquired. While heading out you come across a fork in the road, one leading towards a forest and another leading to a city, which way do you want to go to explore and adventure?

Leafeon sat a few feet away from the battleground and Chickpea took his place. "Ready Chickpea?" She smiled and Chickpea nodded, looking a little frightened but optimistic. "Ok, use Blaze!" She pointed at the wild Oddish.

The trainer decides to name the eevee ‘Avi’ and Avi seems to be quite happy with the name. Avi decides to jump onto Seji’s shoulder, and with that, Tatsu picks up the Starly, and they continue on their way to the next city, which ever one it is. Seji needed to get the Starly healed up quick, so she picked up the pace, slightly running down the route.

Chickpea is slightly confused as there’s no move called blaze, but he assumes that you meant ember, and used it on the Oddish!

It was super effective! The oddish took a lot of damage! Leafeon cheers on Chickpea, and the Oddish uses tackle on Chickpea! Thankfully, Chickpea responded quickly with you and Leafeons warning and managed to dodge the attack. What will Chickpea do?
