Is there any specific reason we can trade our tokens around in order to get 10 creams?

so far, the only reason is that it's easier than doing them one by one, but they'll probably be useful later!

You have a chance to get them when you dig in the mine in the fairy realm ^^

Any of the trade-ins that already require cream - it's just so you don't have to trade them one at a time.

they most likely got a crystal on their first try in the mine

Yes that happened to me. Beginner's Luck came thru..... A very long time beginner. But I love it !
