Pokémon Adopters

Introduction

Hey there! I'm hymn, the current owner of Pokémon Adopters, along with our co-owner, Geo Stelar. Previous owners include: Cloudpelt, Lucrezia, I z u k u, Cipher, and Jurassic,. If your new to Pokémon Adopters, welcome! Scroll down a bit and check out the 'How to Play' section, where you'll learn a bit more about the game. If your a returning player, go ahead and repost your form, and enjoy playing again!

Please note that if you do decide to make a thread similar to ours, please notify me so we can avoid confusion.

How to Play

To start playing, fill out the form below and receive your starter pokémon. Once you recieve your starter, go ahead and begin this RP-style game. You can do many things, such as:
• Battle Gyms
• Encounter Legendary Pokémon
• Breed your Pokémon
• Trade with other players and even Wondertrade
• Event Raffles!

• Be polite to all players!
• All pokémon are randomly generated! There is no way to get a specific pokémon you would like unless it's purchased from the store.
• Don't claim you have a pokemon when you don't!
• Trading is allowed if both parties agree to the trade. Moderator(s) must also be notified of a trade.
• If you happen to be inactive for a month without prior notice to your mod, they have the right to stop moderating you. If this does happen, please let your mod know by PM.
• Do not repost unless either your mod requests you to do so, or you haven't gotten a response for 10+ pages. (If you mod has notified you in advance that they would be inactive, do not repost until they are active again.)

Daycare

This is where you can breed your pokemon. As long as you have two pokemon in the same egg group, you’ll be able to get eggs. If one of the parents is shiny, your chances of getting a shiny from the eggs doubles. (1/20 chance --> 1/10 chance)

If both parents are shiny, this chance goes to 1/5! Does not stack again with shiny charm.

Wondertrade

If you have caught a pokemon that you don’t want, you can come here to wondertrade it! Here, you can go from a Rattata to a shiny mew! Who knows, the chances are endless!

Trading

You can also make a trade between two Pokemon Adopters players. As long as both parties agree to the trade,

Gyms

Here is where you can battle gym leaders across the different Regions. You can start in any Region, just let your mod know! However, you must battle each of them in order. (For example, if you are starting in Kanto, you'd battle Brock, then Misty, etc.)

Each pokemon has a 50/50 chance to win against each of the gym leader's pokémon. Your mod will flip a coin to see if you win or not. Fill out the form!

Shop

The currency we use is called shells. You must have them to buy anything from the shop. To purchase shells, send pets/C$ to your mod or me.

Have shells from previous threads? Go ahead and keep them!

OMG so common = 10 shells
Very common = 40 shells
Common = 75 shells
Uncommon = 150 shells
Rare = 300 shells
Very Rare = 700 shells
OMG so rare = 1200 shells
1 c$ = 5 shells, multiply for your amount!

Please keep track of how many shells you have in your posts.

Shop Items

Normal Pokemon of your Choice = 75 shells

Random Shiny = 150 shells

Shiny of your choice (cannot be legendaries) = 400 shells

Any Normal Legendary (Randomized) = 500 shells

Shiny Legendary (Randomized) = 700 shells

Normal Legendary of your choice = 600 shells

Shiny Legendary of your choice = 800 shells

Ditto = 550 shells

Special Forme Pokémon (Ash greninja, Let's Go Eevee/Pikachu etc) = 200 shells, add 100 if shiny.

Items

Shiny Charm = 700 shells

This item doubles your shiny chances as your exploring. Does not stack.

Instant Hatch = 150 shells

This item instantly hatches up to 5 eggs while they are in your party.

Random Mega Stone = 150 shells

Random Mega stone. Allows you to mega evolve your pokémon in battle.

Mega stone of your choice = 200 shells

Mega stone of your choice. Allows you to mega evolve your pokémon in battle.

Box Expansion = 50 shells (50 Slots)

Each player has a box with 100 slots available. You will need to expand for more pokemon!

Moderators + Moderator Rules

Moderator Rules

• You must keep a list of who you moderate. Keeping track of how many shells they have is optional.
• Don't give anyone pokémon that they want, unless purchasing from a store. If you are confused, or it gets too out of hand, PM me about it.
• All Pokémon must be randomly generated aside from the option to buy a Pokémon of your players choice in the shop!
• Use a number generator for shinies. 1-20, if it lands on 1 or 20, they receive a shiny. If shiny charm is active, 1,2,19, and 20, all stand for shiny.
• 1-15 for pokemon that already come with a mega stone- 1 or 15 for mega. There is currently no charm for megas. Do not do this for starters.
• If you happen to know before hand that you will be going inactive for a period of time, please notify me and your players.
• Let me know if you want me to change your status on the mod list! This helps the players know why they might be receiving delayed responses, if your going on a break, etc.

Are you a mod but don't see yourself on the list? There's two things that may have happened:
A) I missed you, pm me.

Or:

B) You have been inactive for a month without notifying me.
