By the time you return to Carter's cabin, you looked like you had been in a fight with several large birds at once and lost. However, the way you had gotten the feathers weren't important; what was important was that you had gotten them. When he sees you, Carter burst out into a fit of laughter, doubling over. (You didn't think you looked that bad, but maybe you were wrong...) He spends the next several minutes helping you gather all the feathers that were stuck all over you, placing them into a cloth bag and regarding them with a satisfied sigh.

"Wow, you really found a lot! I’m sure Brandy would be glad to have these. I met up with 'im again while I was out an' he told me a story about a Pegasus that gave him a feather in exchange for saving his life..."

He shrugs at you fix him with a curious stare, before typing up the bag and handing it over to you.
