IlluminatiTheShrimp wrote:Cipher had been taking a stroll through the village, it had been after curfew at the campsite and everyone had been expected to be confined to their tents or gathering around at the campfire at this time, but of course, there are rulebreakers. He started his stride towards the rock near town, he hoped to maybe encounter a bear or raccoon, but anything would be fine in this very early morning, the air was light and the air smelled of nature. He took one step into the forest before he heard a growl and was pinned down by a rather large wolf.
Notker blended well into the night, his dark fur wasn't too dark to stick out. He let up and started to trot away, his voice harsh and deep, "You shouldn't be wandering around alone, especially in the dark woods. Things lurk there you don't want to meet, nothing here takes too kind to townfolk."
Cipher let out the breath he was holding, stopping Notker, "We can go together, I've never been here. I'm visiting like every year, I'd have a good time meeting something, even if it tried to kill me."
Notker was amused at the foolish thought, "Fine, we'll go. Stick to the trails, and stay in the light," Notker took a lantern into his jaws, "I don't want to be responsible for what could happen."
Cipher listened, not nervous to be in the lands at night. He started to get unsettled as shrieks began, but he just told himself it was the corn. The corn was always screaming at night. After about ten minutes into their walk, they stumbled across a small fox, stars aligned its fur and the glow was dim, a slight glowing blue emitted from a liquid on its fur. Notker almost dropped his lantern at the sight, "Pick it up immediately, we have to move fast."
Cipher obliged with no questions, picking it up immediately and following Notker who started sprinting. They made it to a small timber cabin, and Notker slammed into the door, falling before properly opening it, "Sit it here, now."

WHENEVER I WANT TO DO SOMETHING YOU JUST SAY THAT "it's not allowed" OR "you shouldn't do that"
that’s because it’s usually along the lines of “can i eat furniture”
