Well, it's related in that it's a Pokemon mobile game, but other than that ... not really at all? I haven't checked out Rumble Rush specifically, but I've played other games in the Rumble series and if it's anything like those, it doesn't really have anything to do with Go besides being about Pokemon and, like most Pokemon games one way or another, involving the premise of catching/recruiting and battling with many different kinds of Pokemon.

I was kind of hoping that I’d be able to move Pokémon between the two games, LOL.

Just found out about the new appraisal system! Found out a few newer Pokémon I hadn’t checked were actually pretty strong!

On another note, when I looked at the update it mentioned being able to fight Team Rocket grunts? Has anyone fought one yet? I haven’t seen much else about it, but then again I’ve been a bit inactive from the battling part of the game recently

They are actually called Team Go Rocket in game, but you can find them at certain pokestops. The pokestops will be discolored, and you have to fight them. You will then have a chance to capture the shadow pokemon they leave behind, they are stronger than usual, and then you can purify them with their respective candies. Can't trade them while they are in their shadow form. Think I got everything about it though. When you go to read in the news in the app, it talks about the unusual things that's going on with the pokestops. I haven't gotten out much, so I haven't done one yet.

I've fought a couple and so far its been.. pretty boring, honestly.
Not as a game mechanic, but just from the fact theres nothing really to gain from battling them, it seems? Maybe if they had some rarer pokemon, like idk I'd go out and actively seek them out if I had the chance to catch a couple bagons. Or get rare candies/sinnoh stones/special items (clothes, mayhaps?) as rewards. But instead I've so far caught a couple charmanders I don't need, and a couple of my pokemon have fainted, meaning I'm going to have to waste revives/potions on them. Or if battling them counted as a regular trainer battle and would advance that one research task...

Not a bad addition to the game, mind you. Just that I currently don't feel its worth fighting them.

It could be that my phone is running on low data, but I can't seem to load the Team Rocket battle. It will never load it.
