Byakuya looked at Momo for a long moment before nodding. "Yes, Hinamori-san. We don't. Everyone is spread thin as it is. Captain Hitsugaya's and I's squads in particular as we are struggling to be allowed to," He paused, "Go to Hueco Mundo as well as deal with the everyday duties that none of the other squads seem to have time for." He pinched the bridge of his nose again, resisting the urge to sigh. He was sure that Captain Yamamoto had shrugged so much work onto his squad and Toshiro's so they couldn't focus on rescuing Skylar.

His dark gaze moved to Elle as she stammered a reply to his question. He was ultimately unimpressed. His tone was as hard as stone and rather detached. "And have you ever fought a Hollow? Ever seen an Arrancar?" He was getting more and more impatient. He didn't want to meet those that would be useless or unhelpful in the long run.

Ulquiorra's unreadable eyes traveled to Skylar, and there was a hint of ice in their depths. He fingered his wound, and nodded minutely, reasonably satisfied with how it had been tended. He would be able to move more freely now.

"Yes." He said, his lips twitching a little.

Akiko laughed and nodded. "Let's get sushi." She murmured, getting up slowly, and testing her legs. She was still weak, but it was manageable so she tightened her robes, kissed her son on the cheek and took her place at Hisaraku's side. "Let's go before the others begin to bother us." She said.

{Uh, I think Miona is still in Hueco Mundo unless you moved her. XD}

Elle narrowed her eyes at Byakuya, a growl threatening to rumble out of her throat. She sensed that he was growing impatient with all three of them, but she hadn't the slightest idea why. With her being the sunny person she was, she immediately disapproved of being anywhere within eyesight of those people. It was one of those pet peeves that she rarely had.
Elle jumped out of her thoughts again as he asked her yet another few questions with his somewhat calm, but chilling tone. Elle scrunched up behind Ichigo more, but answered his question.
"...y-yes. When I met Ichigo, a large one - about fifty or so feet tall - attacked the school we were attending and I helped him defeat it." Elle swallowed nervously and pondered about his other question. "N...no, s-sir." She started to tremble lightly, fearing what he would do since she had no idea what an Arrancar was. Would he dispose of her for being no help? Would she be thrown back into the World of the Living? And she had just gotten here, too...

Byakuya leaned back in his chair, his pale, angular face as expressionless as a stone. His dark eyes met Elle's evenly, and for a moment, he regretted how causticly and coldly he had addressed her. No doubt this was her first time in the Soul Society and all of this was very strange. But at the same time, the Soul Society was for Soul Reapers. Very, very few of the inhabitants of the World of the Living came.

"Then you're lucky." He replied, a small smile curling his lips. "Arrancars are nothing but Hollows with extra strength and devilish cunning. Pray that you'll never have the misfortune of meeting such monsters."

Elle froze at his sudden change in personality. Were all Soul Reapers like this, excluding Ichigo? Did they toy with their fellow Soul Reaper's fears and such but then go through an emotional metamorphosis? It twisted her own emotions from confusion, to suspicion, and then to anger.
She had forgotten about her telepathy. Of course! That must've been why she could sense how he felt. It was also obvious to tell he was previously annoyed, but she decided to leave that detail out so she could have an excuse to use her ability again.
She blinked once then stared into his grey gaze, picking up his emotions and feeling a lot better than before. So he had felt somewhat sorry for her, hm? Good, he scared her half to death just by being in the same room.
Elle gave a light blush and grinned back, stepping out from behind Ichigo. He had a nice smile. It was odd how the coldest of people had amazing smiles. She didn't ponder long about the matter, though. She had a feeling to stay on guard, for that odd, threatening spiritual pressure continued to pulse through her being.
She gave a little gasp and directed her attention back to the window, setting her brow and getting into a slight fight preparation pose.
That thing, was it coming closer? Or did its energy just burst all of a sudden?

Momo narrowed her eyes softly at Byakuya and nodded. "Ah" She mumbled and then looked back at Elle, raising her eyesbrows before again looking back at Byakuya as the two talked. So at least she's fought a Hollow before, she can't be too weak She decided silently and crossed her arms across her chest, a thoughtful look upon her face. The Arrancar's had been popping up much more frequently then usual, it was very surprising, the fluctating amount of work the squads had to do to keep the increasing amount of murders, Hollow and Arrancar killings and the like was getting harder.

"I see Captain Kuchiki... Your squads have a lot of work" She mumbled quietly, her dark brown eyes thoughtful.
She again looked back at Elle as she gasped, a puzzled look on her face.

Skylar smirked at Ulquiorra, wondering if she had begun to annoy him yet, she liked to do that at the best of times, but Ulquiorra was much more of a challenge. "Why don't you guys stand up for ya selves a bit more?" She asked abruptly and raised her one visible eyebrow before brushing her fingers through her hair with a swfit movement.

"When don't the others bother us?" Hisaraku sighed and frowned slightly before looking at Akiko with an amused smile, he quickly began to walk, hoping he wasn't being too fast for his partner, he held his son tightly in his arms, wondering if he could talk yet, he was growing so fast and all, he wouldn't be surprised.

He licked his lips slightly as he thought about the food in The World Of The Living, it was much better then Hollow's he would have to say.

Ulquiorra's eyebrows raised ever so slightly, the biggest show of incredulity someone as expressionless as he could muster. "Because, Skylar, even if all of the Espadas here managed to fight as one and combined their power, we still wouldn't be able to kill Aizen. I doubt we would even be able to injure him." His emerald eyes tightened a little. "That's why we bide our time and try to keep on his good side."

"Umm...Hisaraku? Could you--could you open the portal to get there?" Akiko asked, her cheeks flushing in embarrassment. She knew she wasn't strong enough, which made her feel shameful. Her amethyst eyes were cast to the ground as she walked.

Byakuya watched, with a wry sense of amusement, Elle's confusion to his sudden emotional change. His grey eyes flickered to the window, almost in synchronization with Elle's intake of breath. He could sense a spiritual pressure coming towards the Soul Society, and recognized it rather quickly. It belonged to the Soul Reaper who had been the sole survivor of the group sent into Hueco Mundo.

He returned his gaze to the three in front of him, before settling on Ichigo. "I don't believe you are here just to ask about the murders. Undoubtedly you know that there are Soul Reapers about. You couldn't claim to be a Shinigami if you had missed their presence. So," He said, clasping his pale, slender hands. "What is the real reason you're here?"

Ichigo rubbed the back of his neck, a little unnerved that Byakuya knew that he had other reasons about being there. "It's about Sky." He said carefully, his brown eyes becoming cautious, but fierce and determined all the same. "We can't just abandon her. I don't care what her letter said, because I don't believe it. Orihime's experience has taught me that." His voice was hard. "Are you really just going to sit here and twiddle your thumbs while Sky maybe be getting tortured or even killed?"

Elle continued to keep her full concentration on the outside of the building they were in, and narrowed her eyes before lowering her head and letting the growl that previously built up inside of her emit from her throat. She didn't like the feel of the mixed spiritual pressure that was applied to her body at the moment. Yes, she was strong, but she hadn't been able to get used to the feel of spiritual pressure. Heck, she wasn't even used to Ichigo's. With all four of the spiritual beings' reitatsu applied to her, it pulsed directly into her center, and started to inflict pain. No, the three with her in the room didn't cause the pain. The fourth, more mysterious one did.
Elle broke her concentration when she heard Ichigo's voice, and rolled her eyes to where he was, but kept her body in place. He had been very quiet since they came in, and Elle found that kind of out-of-character for him, but maybe it was because of Byakuya's intimidating looks. Or maybe the fourth being's reitatsu.
She raised her eyebrows once Ichigo spoke of this Skylar person. From his tone of voice, she sounded important to him. Her heart warmed for a split second, appreciating how thoughtful and caring he was, but winced and let out a little whine as the mysterious energy pulsated fiercely through her chest, the pain enough to make her shake vigorously.

((..and I didn't even have to think for a half hour on this post. SO PROUD~!))

"But that's boring" Skylar exclaimed and let out an infuriated sigh, showing more emotion then she had in a little while with that outburst. "This is rediculous" She snorted and with an angry little sound she sat down, crossing her legs and narrowing her eyes, once more tunning into the talking inside her head.

Their all rather wimpy... Though their right, Aizen is much too powerful for them, or even the Soul Reapers as well Soul Reaper Sky said thoughtfully, seeming to have calmed down.
"Noone stands a chance against 'im then?" Arrancar Sky exclaimed, half talking to the Sky in her head, half talking to Ulquiorra.

Hisaraku looked at Akiko and then smiled sheepishly at her. "Of course" He exclaimed and then lifted his hand, holding Takishima with the other and made a small gesture with his fingers. He watched as the sky tore open and the dark expanse was shown, he looked back at Akiko with a quick grin. "Lets go" He said.

Momo looked in shock at Ichigo as he mentioned Skylar, she thought everyone had sort of put that to the back of their minds. "But she is half Arrancar! She could be fine" She said softly, her brown eyes narrowed sharply, which was rather uncharacteristic of her, she had no sympathy for the messed up Soul Reaper, from the turmoil it had pout Toshiro through she was sort of... Glad she was gone.

Tisagu skidded to a stop, feeling the reitsu of a Captain, Lieutenant and two others he couldn't regonize, he let out a small snort and kept flashstepping, not wanting to gt caught after what had happened to Ayame, he non chelontly walked through the gates of the forst squad barracks and walked quickly to his own quarters. Opening the door to it quietly he swiftly jogged to his bed and practically dived under there, prying up the floorboard he rumaged around and pulled out various items, he gathered them all in a small bag he kept there and tied it. He looked around nervously before beginning to walk out, wondering if he would encounter anyone he would need to get rid of or not.

Ichigo rounded on Momo, beginning to feel angry and irritated. "And what if she isn't? What if she's wondering where we are? What if she's wondering if we have abandoned her?" His brown eyes burned. "I didn't believe that you could leave a comrade, no a friend, alone like that and not feel guilt or remorse." He clenched his hands into fists. "Well, I won't do that. I'll go to Hueco Mundo and I'll see for myself whether she needs to be rescued or not."

"One strong enough has not come along yet." Ulquiorra replied emotionlessly, unperturbed by Skylar's sudden outburst. He remained standing as she sat down. "And I have to wonder whether we better fear that newcomer more than Lord Aizen himself."

Akiko returned Hisaraku's sheepish smile with one of her own and easily jumped through the opening, stepping out into the air above Karakuratown. Her purple gaze traveled across the buildings, searching for a place where they could buy food for Takishima. Well, not buy, since they didn't have any money. She doubted the store owner would notice a couple of baby food cans missing anyway.

Byakuya finally released a sigh, feeling his tolerance snap. "Listen, Kurosaki Ichigo." He said, his voice barely restraining his evident irritation and impatience. "You won't be able to go there alone. The last time you went to Hueco Mundo you were kidnapped, and the time before that, you nearly died until I and the other Captains arrived. Don't be foolish. You will die if you go there. I don't appreciate you calling me a coward either. This is beyond just Skylar. This involves all that Aizen is done and his desire to destroy the Soul Society. At the moment, dealing with him is more important than anything else."

"I see no point in risking your lives for a girl who might not want to be saved, I read her note, she didn't want you to go after her!" Momo snapped back at Ichigo, her anger was not really usual for her. She looked back at Byakuya, the anger fading from her eyes and she had to literally stop herself from smiling. "So we can't go and get her then?" She stated smugly and looked back at Ichigo.

"As long as the newcomer isn't boring I won't mind" Skylar said and a small smirk appeared on her lips, she looked at Ulquiorra closely and narrowed her dull green eyes at him and sighed.

"What about there?" Hisaraku exclaimed and pointed to a shopping center, his blue eyes narrowed against the sun, he lightly put his hands half-over Takishima's eyes so he wouldn't get sore eyes. He smiled lightly as he felt the wond through his long black and blue hair.

Tisagu quickly dashed from his room, running toward the exit of the barracks and beginning to flashstep as soon as he got through the gates, this had gone exstrodanarily well for him today.
