Snowpaw noticed Darkpaw and walked over with a friendly smile wagging her tail. She thought Flarepaw should rest. “Are you tired Darkpaw?” She asked, not expecting a verbal response. “You should sleep in the den. You’ll be a lot more comfortable.” She said. Honestly she didn’t mind Darkpaw being mute, but she felt happy just talking to him.

The young dog looked up at Snowpaw with his beady eyes. He thought for a moment, then nodded and flicked his tail towards the den. He stood up and nuzzled Snowpaw softly, before prodding off to the den with sleepy paws.

Stagstar woke up with a start to face the elderly dog. He quickly got onto his paws and shook off his fur. "Sorry, Whiteleg!" He exclaimed, quickly trying to change the subject. "What is it that you need?" He glanced at her wet fur, and shuddered as if feeling it on his own fur.

Snowpaw follow Darkpaw inside feeling happy to have understood him. She was also very tired as her jaws opened wide and she yawned as she lay down to sleep, staying close to Darkpaw in case he needed anything. That’s what friends do.

"You sleep all day, and do nothing for your pack, and I'm the only dog that has the decency to wake up your sorry little butt, and the first thing you say to me is 'sorry'?!" She huffed again. "Then you go on to say 'what is that you need?!' Not even a Thank you for what I just did?! It's about time you wake yourself up, instead of expecting decent dogs like me to do it! You're the leader of this camp, and like it or not, we don't exactly have enough paws to go around, so instead of doing nothing, and sitting in your den. Go get me some moss! Before I bite of your ears for lying to Starpack when you took that oath to help your pack!" She growled underneath her breath and walked away.

After making her announcement, she peered over at Flowerpetal. Although there was a familiar smirk on the alpha's face, none of the usual warmth was in it, making her expression all but unreadable. "I certainly hope so," was all that she said. She looked her new deputy over thoughtfully. Flowerpetal was young, much like herself, and lacked experience, but her initiative and her motherliness were what had made Velvetstar consider her. There had been countless instances in which she had stepped in as a mother for young Flarepaw, despite her being unrelated. ShadowPack, with an aggressive attitude that sometimes went unchecked, could use such a leader to counterbalance it. She nodded to her with more confidence, then turned to make her way to the border. She wanted to get one last good patrol in before the sun rose, since she regularly slept through daylight hours to conserve her energy for the much more favorable night. However, she was stopped mid-step by her apprentice, Birchpaw. She smiled her toothy wolf smile. "Hello, Birchpaw." She cocked her head as she questioned with humor in her voice, "I suppose you almost got tripped over to inquire me about training?"

Her head lowered a bit when her beta seemed irritated by her mere question, but she quickly brushed it off. "Sorry, Copperskip." She followed behind him at a respectful distance, peering over her shoulder to see if Berrybounce was coming, too. Cloudtuft was quite curious to see what patrolling with her in particular would be like; she didn't know any tunnelers very well, and she had heard a lot of nasty things about them from her fellow moor runners, such as that they hated the light of the outside world and stayed cooped up in their tunnel systems to avoid having to talk to their packmates. However, she wouldn't simply assume that those rumors were correct. She wanted to see for herself what they were like.

In just moments, both outsiders had left, giving passing remarks on their way out. Mouseheart just stood in his spot for several seconds, breathing hard. It was not triumph that he felt, burning like a growing fire in his tiny body. Rather, it was intensifying fury, and he wasn't even sure why. Shouldn't their retreat have made him happy? Will this even mean anything to my Pack? I had to yell at a couple of entirely neutral dogs for this, and they left on their own in the end... He shook his head, snapping out of his daze, and looked around with bugged eyes. It was quite unsettling that he was completely alone at Fourtrees, now that that information had truly set in. He had never seen it so empty before. In fact, as an omega, he had never even traveled through the Forest Territories themselves on his own before. So many dog scents were weaving through one another throughout the area that he couldn't even tell which way his Pack had gone... With a sigh of irritation, he began sniffing around, trying to pick out where ThunderPack territory was.

She listened to the loner's story, wagging her tail slowly in interest, though she was disappointed by how short it was. "Agreed," she barked cheerfully in response to his insult of the city. Starting to feel more at ease around the stranger, she leapt down to the ground from her place on the tree branch, landing with a graceful, soft thud. She cocked her head curiously at him and commented as it suddenly occurred to her, "It's already almost sunrise, isn't it? I wonder if those Packs -" Her voice was interuppted by the fierce growl of a foreign shape that charged from the bushes and straight towards Mischief, out of seemingly nowhere. She scarcely had time to react, and she had barely even started to bear her teeth in a ferocious little growl of her own when Skull intercepted the creature just before its gleaming fangs could lock into her neck. The skirmish was brief and violent, though clearly very one-sided, and soon enough, the attacker, which she decided was probably a dog of some kind by appearence, fled with a shrill whine. The short doggiepet looked over at Skull, her big eyes full of admiration that she tried to play down moments later. "I'm fine. I would've annihilated that dog anyways if you hadn't interfered." Taken aback by the rogue protecting her, though, she blurted abruptly, "But also thank you!"

Scout nodded and settled down. Shaking her haunches to get comfortable. She laid her head on her paws and watched Firelight.

Darkpaw kept close to Snowpaw and closed his eyes. His tail flat against the ground, and his paws spread out in front of him. Even his breathing was quite, though if you really listened closely you could hear his constant ragged and croaky breaths.

Stagstar winced at her words and watched as she walked off. He store at the ground, unsure what to think. He turned and walked off into the forest to find some moss. Whimpering to himself as he stepped away. He picked up some moss and a jaw-full of feathers in the forest. His tail drooping as he thought about her words. She's right. It was wrong of me to laze around like that.

She carefully watched the pup then around the woods for this Gildengheart to walk back, she was prepared that the meeting with her could not be probably good, but she could not leave the pup alone.

He watched the dogs there silently, then walked away to leave when noticed another dog, but this was alone just like he was being "So who are you? Do you have any idea whats going on in here?" he said, walking closer to the more smaller dog, not really minding if the dogs there talking saw him or not, he was large enough to fight back if needed to.

She gave the alpha little unsure nod with a smile, ignoring the not so welcome glares she could feel in her pelt, it was very clear that not anyone was agreeing her to be the beta, but she didn't really care. She will eventually die before the alpha so either of the warriors or apprentices could become beta in lates on, so why could she enjoy her rank as a beta for now.

She was going to answer when the older apprentice left her to speak with the handsome boy Darkpaw, sighing she felt little unwanted now, but maybe Snowpaw was right, she could go to have some more rest for her leg. She made back to he nest silently, landing her paws over his nose to shut the light to come over her eyes.

She asked in a friendly but protective tone. As Acornpup came to greet her, she heard Acornpup say that the stranger was watching over. "Ah so that's what happened."

Moosestar watched the young pup closely, before sharply turning his gaze to Honeyhop. "A rogue? Honeyhop pups are one thing, but a pup that was with a rogue?" he asked in a dark voice. He hoped that this wasn't the pup of the rogue or else they were surely in big trouble. The last thing they needed was trouble cause by some unknown rogue looking for a pup one of his own warriors had taken. Turning back to the male he sighed. "Honeyhop I don't know what to say about this. Bringing in stray pups is something we have to be careful with. Did anyone follow you?" he asked his eyes still narrowed hoping that everything would be fine, but Mouseheart was still missing and no one had left to look for him yet.

The stocky female had to keep herself from snapping at the other female's words. She knew Flowerpetal probably wasn't one of the obvious choices, and some dogs would probably disagree with Velvetstar's choice. However, she was greatly loyal to her leader, and she wasn't about to let this dog say something like that and get away with it. "How do you know? If, Velvetstar didn't believe she was capable of the role then she wouldn't have chosen her as beta." she said a slight growl in her voice as she spoke. Her eyes narrowed and her ears pricked. "You might as well only have this as a temporary home. Because with that type of attitude you certainly wouldn't last long here." she said with a snort.

With a slight nod Copperskip followed Cloudtuft his long, thin tail waving in the air like a flag. His eyes shot to where Berrybounce was and he called quite loudly making sure she could hear him. "Berrybounce! Let's go were going on a patrol!" he said, with a glance over his shoulder and padding away. His ears were pricked as his long stride carried him out of the camp without a second glance over his shoulder. He wasn't going to wait all day for the other two. He would certainly do this patrol by himself if they took too long.

The fluffy male watched closely as the small group left and his eyes snapped at a sudden voice. It was unfamiliar and his eyes narrowed, before turning toward the other dog. He was a larger than him, but he wasn't afraid to fight if one broke out. He was silent, before speaking. "Why should I tell someone like you? I've never seen you out here before. And as for them I have no idea. Seems like a fight almost broke out, but everyone's leaving now." he said with a glance back at the other dogs. He wondered where this other strange dog had come from, but at the moment was focused on not only the new stranger, but the other dogs as well.
