It will be interesting to see where the site goes from here. I didn't even know about the rare list removal. >.>
I really only come on for the monthly pets, store pets (sometimes), and the events which I still find fun.
So many people that joined and stopped coming back, I miss them.

Yes, or old friends you had when you joined when you were younger (I was a kid when I joined pretty much, haha.) that may be still here but it's awkward to reintroduce yourself.
Can't believe I've been on this site for so long, some of my fondest memories!
I agree with ya(:

I made my account in 2008 and wanted to change my name. I'm pretty sure at that time Nick would make a new account for you with that name and transfer all your pets for you, because changing names wasn't an option or something. All the pets from my old account just show received from a trade from my old account.
I was like.. 13. I played from September 08 to January 09 without knowing there was a forum. I just adopted the pets and looked at them every day before school to see if I had a new growth. (Such good memories. I used to wake up at 5 am, make some oatmeal, and spend my morning on CS, because in my time zone, 5 or 6 was the beginning of day on CS.)
I remember stalking the pound. It felt like it was never open. That was when you could see the thousand or so pets that the pound account had. I remember seeing posts saying, ooh look at Pound's page xxx it has the joker card dog. LOL.
My old posts are still intact but too embarrassing to share. Not to diss it at all, but as I got older, (20+) I started to feel a little embarrassed for still playing. I actually just recently shared it with the first person ever, and he thought it was cool. He even let me show him my favorite pets LOL.
Sorry to drone on. I must be old.

Whew, five years is quite the hiatus! But man, what a throwback. Remember how we all either made, or requested someone to make, those wishlist graphics for us, so we could slap them on our trade threads and show em off?
Though... They were often really pretty, and felt a bit more unique than having stuff on the archive wishlist, so there's that ^^
Still, the thought of having to manually cobble together a wishlist of missing pets nowadays is fuel for nightmares haha. There's so many pets!

I've seen a couple of users still use those! Mostly for dreamies, but I really adore the WL system and how it interacts with trades <3ZΕL wrote:Still, the thought of having to manually cobble together a wishlist of missing pets nowadays is fuel for nightmares haha. There's so many pets!
I just hear that name and shudder c:
