history: At first glance you might believe that Blizzardstar's born with warrior blood in her veins but dig a little deeper and her past would seem unbefitting for a pack's alpha. Her origins drift back to her original doggiepet life - born in a litter of designer alusky crossbreeds, she never truly knew any of her kin. The young pup was adopted by a loving twoleg living alone high up in the mountains. He named her Neve and would train her every day in exchange for doggiepet treats and toys and a safe roof above her head. Before she knew it the two of them had formed a strong relationship, each devoted endlessly to the other. All was well until Neve's twoleg decided to take her on a long-awaited trek through the mountains. The first few days went smoothly and the twoleg decided to set up a camp. But Neve, being the young pup she was, ran off in the nearby woods to play with the small animals there. Unbeknownst to her, an unexpected blizzard was headed their way. Soon it separated her completely from her twoleg and their camp. The puppy went to seek shelter but fell down a slope, barely making it out of there alive. That's when a Skypack patrol found her and brought her into their camp, their medicine dog saving her just in time. The pack tried to find her twoleg after they figured out that she was a doggypet but he was too far up in the mountains for them to find his trace. She fell into despair but the more soft-hearted members of the pack pleaded that she'd stay with them for her own good. And so Neve became part of Skypack by the sheer mercy of its members, the alpha naming her Blizzardpaw because of the terrible snow storm that led her to them.
Blizzardpaw was immediately admitted as apprentice because of the pack's pressing need of new members in general. Soon Blizzardpaw was integrated into Skypack's culture - from soaking up knowledge about the residents' ancestors to learning their ideal breed's traits (and now knowing them by heart), she was the perfect disciple. As for warrior training - the she-dog displayed natural skill unexpected of one with doggiepet blood in her veins. She trained every chance she could without even realizing how fond she'd grown of it - and that passion of hers did pay off. One night she went on an emergency patrol with her mentor in search of a fox that had been wandering too close to pack territory. Unsurprisingly, they found the canine not far away from pack territory. The two of them fought side by side but Blizzardpaw, having grown a great lot, was the one who dealt the killing bite. The two of them returned back to camp and soon after the she-dog was named Blizzardfang because of the strength and devotion to her pack her actions displayed that night.
Her rise up the social ladder happened rather slowly but Blizzardfang was never one to complain. After the untimely death of Skypack's deputy, Blizzardfang was appointed in their place at the age of 22 moons because of her righteous and devoted nature. She did her best to contribute as much to the pack as she could for the next 9 moons before the alpha died of whitecough. The she-dog established a deeper connection to Starpack and took on the name of Blizzardstar, vowing to stay true to her pack and continue to contribute for the better of all her packmates, elevating the pack's devotion and adaptability as the highest virtues they could strive to possess.

RogueRunner wrote:@ leaves, you're, of course, allowed to RP him into whatever developments you'd like, but I personally wouldn't think so. When his old roleplayer controlled him, Stagstar seemed like the proud but insecure type. When he was teased by Velvetstar at the Gathering for his small stature, he immediately tried to defend himself with logic, and he became flustered and annoyed when she implied that he was Cloudtuft's mate - plus, he came into the Gathering trying to stand taller because he didn't want to seem too short in front of everyone. He seemed to take pride when he stood on a high place with the other leaders, overlooking the Pack dogs. Interestingly, he also displayed sympathy to Velvetstar when she announced ShadowPack's lack of a deputy and medicine dog, even though she had been teasing him moments before. If those examples of what kind of character he was don't help, I'd sum it up as him being a generally kind and shy dog that takes pride in his accomplishments, but is also very aware of the opinions of others.
thanks for that, i probably should've looked more into the old posts (because since i wasn't roleplaying as any dogs in the gathering i thought i just shouldn't read the posts)
though i'll do that now xD but yeah, i'd say he is just self-conscious.

@ F A N D O M I Z E D Blizzardstar is accepted.
@ Everyone I am going to set up the multiple threads now, one for each Pack. Here is how posting will work from now on, and I will make a rule for it: Dogs post on one of the threads according to their location (for example, if a dog is in WindPack camp or WindPack hunting grounds, they post on the WindPack thread). The Main Thread will be used for both posting anywhere but within any pack's territory and for large-scale events that occur between multiple Packs (for example, a fight between two Packs or a Gathering). Unfortunately, to keep allegiances manageable on my end, the ones featured on the front page, with the exception of the outpacker allegiances and the dead dog allegiances, will be removed. HOWEVER, they will be present on the appropriate new threads. If you have any questions about this new arrangement, please don't hesitate to ask.
