Wish heard Darius's howl, and headed in the direction of it.

"Then what are you?" he asked, moving his head to the right side, causing one ear to flop over the other.

[Samend]

"Friends." Breeze said. She giggled at how his ears flopped. Curiosity fleeted across her gaze... then it was gone.

[Fat Unicorn]

Ares righted his head. "Then why is he with Echosong?" he asked, having seen him with Echosong a while ago.

[Samend]

"We're friends." Breeze repeated. She was trying to convince herself more than anyone.

[~Firewolf~]

Arron sighed, looking over the crystal. Why was she showing him this. . .?

[Fat Unicorn]

"Careful. She might snatch him away." Ares replied, looking away. He'd been rejected in the past, but this one stung the most.

Darius padded along the trail of lush green grass. He could feet the moisture dampening his large paws. His ears flicked in every direction, rendering the sounds and identifying who or what they belonged to. "Bird...Tree... Bird...Water." He would whisper every few minutes. Till he heard a different sound, something he hadn`t heard in quite a long while. Other wolves. Darius let out a loud, wild howl to let them know he was hopefully heading towards them. He didn`t want them to think he was trespassing, he wanted them to know he meant no harm.

Melody smiled and howled back, wondering what this wolf would be like. She ran in the direction, eager to meet the new wolf.

Breeze wanted to go see for herself. She sat there quietly not saying another word.

Darius found himself listening carefully once again. No response. Then finally, a howl came from a female wolf not far away. Darius could feel his muscle having almost a spasm type thing. This was because of his extreme excitement. Darius had been travelling for days maybe a week or two and was finally going to meet another wolf, and luckily it was a female. [Like I mentioned Darius isn`t fond of fighting] He was glad that a male had not been coming his way. Males are not exactly, more powerful, but usually at most times more aggressive and territorial.
