That sort of thing happens far too often.
If I start a semi-lit rp, it will stay semi-lit even if it dies because of it.
The thing that bothers me about non-lit is that the characters go no deeper than the posts are long.
When I join a not-so-semi-lit rp, I just can't 'get into' my characters.
My best beloved characters are the ones I write paragraphs for; the rest, I just don't care about.
For instance, if someone killed Daeron, I would be heartbroken. Because I put so much effort into him.
The one on the somewhat semi-literate rp I'm in died, and I really don't care.

True, I dislike those who don't give semi lit when semi lit is asked for... Though, I remember my first 1x1 on the site. I could write three lines at best. ^_^" I thank that person who put up with me! Between that and another site, here I am today able to type semi lit.

It's pretty easy to deal with semi-lit rpers that aren't semi-lit.
If they're in your rps, you warn the person and then boot them out if they don't improve.
If you joined the rp, pm the owner or just leave it. xD
Don't see how you guys are having a problem with this.
Yes it's annoying, but easily solvable.

I have seen this happen with many of the Rps that I am in, I made a new Rp about a couple weeks ago as Semi Lit so far it has been about two three paragraphs per post but I'm so afraid that it will go down hill

Just make sure you check how the person normally RPs before accepting anyone [ click on their profile name, then view their posts ], or just do what Clowesia said!:

Alrighty, since I am going through a complete Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood obsession at the moment, I am completely dying to do RP relating to alchemy in some way.

So would anyone be interested? I'd like to know before coming up with a whole plot and such. :3

Browsing the forms and stumbled across this lovely. Dunno if anyone else would be interested, but it's a very unoriginal plot in my eyes. I just don't have the time to fill out a form tonight.

I just came up with the single most ridiculous rp idea ever. B|
Have a bunch of supernatural creatures, things of myth and lore that aren't supposed to exist, chasing after something else that isn't supposed to exist, the New Zealand Moose.
The irony makes me giggle. :B
