Raven gazed into the distance. "I'm not sure how to do this. Talk, I mean." she said wistfully with a small smile. "I never used to talk to people." she said. "Freak." she whispered to herself. Thats what everyone called her.

Alex laughed softly, since he felt the same way. "I never really talked either. When I was really young, Emma would just talk for me." He smiled, trying to make Raven feel better. "You aren't a freak. You seem pretty cool." The shifter told her, playing with the ribbons in his hair. "I'm the freak. I look like a girl." He admitted. Alexander had been teased and bullied many times because of his looks, and many thought that was why he was quiet. It wasn't true though, Alex is just naturally quiet.

Raven smiled weakly, but her mouth automatically set itself back to it's normal straight line. "Alex, you don't look like a girl. I look like a girl, being I am one." she said, gesturing with her hands down her body. It was definitely quite obvious Raven was a girl. "Your hair is awesome." she said with a smile, seeing him fiddle with his ribbons. She ran her fingers through her black bangs with the red and purple tips that covered her left eye. Strangely enough, her mouth didn't reset itself.

Madison walked into the large campus and down a hall. She was tired of lugging these huge bags around. She looked at the room number and knocked, but nobody answered. She used her little key the man at the desk had given her. Her stomache growled. She opened the door and set her bags aside, then plopped on the couch. She blew her bangs out of her face and looked around. "Nice." She said allowed and her stomache growled again. "Ahh, fine." She said tlaking to herself, she stood up and walked out the door again and down the hall. A teacher, or some adult, passed by her and she asked confidently, "Hey, do you know where the food court is? Or some other place I could get food? Im new, and starving!" She said and looked at the woman.
She pointed down the hall and she followed it into a large room that smelled quite yummy. She went up to the line and grabbed a grilled cheese and some chicken. Her blue eyes blazed with confidence as she sat down at a table, eager to make friends.

Emma blushed. Kira was really cute in her opinion, and she liked seeing that he wasn't perfect and didn't really try to be. "I can control water." She pulled water out of her cup to show him, and quickly let it fall. When he asked her to walk with him, she nodded. "I'd love to, Kira."

"Great. Let's go." Kira headed out a door that connected the food court to a nice field outside, Emma following behind him. It was a beautiful day out, not too cold or hot. "So, Emma, what kind of stuff are you into? Y'know, like music, sports, writing, whatever. Me, I like to draw. I find it very relaxing."

"Well, I don't look like a girl anymore. But when I was a kid, I was teased so much." Alex laughed, and kept a soft smile on his face, as if recalling a fond memory. "Thanks." He started untying the ribbons from his hair, letting his long purple hair fall in front of his face, wavier than usual. Showing the ribbons to Raven, he grinned. "My gryphon tried to tear them apart. He's still just a baby." The shape shifter had quickly realized that he felt comfortable enough around Raven to become his real self -- not the one he kept hidden.

Emma smiled softly. "That's awesome. I wish I could draw... I love to swim, obviously, but I was also on the dance team at my old school." She looked around at the field. It was really beautiful. "Do you have any pets, or anything? My mother promised to go look at sea dragons with me, but she's been too busy."

Evviee left the cafeteria, peeking in doors along the hallway to see what was inside them. She hadn't yet explored the place; when she got here she went immediately to the cafeteria. She supposed she should start setting up her room, but didn't feel like it yet.

Cassandra kept going down the hall, her eyes shifting around the halls warily. She still had yet to trust anyone from the school and, considering she was new, she wasn't about ready to go around the schools alone. She wasn't sure if her past would come to haunt her yet again, but she doubted it. Criminal records are in the past, right? she asked herself while continuing on down the hall.

James knocked on the door to his new room, smiling when he realized no one was in there. He tossed his stuff onto one of the beds and changed before heading to the outdoor pool. Looking to make sure he wouldn't hit anyone, the werewolf dove into the water.
