Daniel wiped at his shirt with his napkin, his mouth drawn into a straight line before watching the girl get up, holding in a smile of amusement when she began scoffing him. He hid his small laugh with a cough, the man looking at him with a glare. "Did you need more napkins?" he asked sharply, noticing Daniel had only been using the same wet one because they'd ran out. "Uhm, could we just get the bill?" he asked, no particular rude tone to his voice as the old lady from earlier rolled over with the bill, her roller skates lighting up. "RIght here dear, did you need any to-go boxes?" he only shook his head, Katalina had finished her pancakes and he was practically done his, so he was fine. Daniel motioned for the girl to follow him out before a bigger storm brewed with the man, however, they were too late. "You forgot this" the man called, jogging after them, the three now in the parking lot. Daniel turned-quite naively and was faced with a punch to the face. Daniel stood in shock, and before he could process anything else he grabbed him by the shirt and slammed the bigger man against the wall, feeling his lip bleed. "I said, I didn't want to start anything with you man, c'mon" he reminded, touching his lip, his other hand holding him against the wall. "Well too late, I don't see the problem in letting me talk to that se-" Daniel knew the tone his was using, he knew the cat call that was to come, and he surely didn't like it. Daniel hit him with an uppercut, dragging him off of the wall to face him closely, the man blinking from the amount of shock and pain. "I told you, we don't treat women like that, and we definitely don't start physical fights in front of them, now please, will you leave us the hell alone before I do something that I'll regret" we warned lowly, the man quickly nodding, sending Katalina an apologetic look and struggling out of Daniels grip before speed walking back inside. Daniel winced, imagining the conversation that was to come, he turned around, a look of pure guilt on his face as he cringed, "I'm so sorry that happened-and you had to see that-and I acted like that, I promise it was out of instinct and in the moment-I'm not violent and I don't like to hurt people" he quickly rambled out, playing with his hands and looking at the ground in nervousness.
