The light fury lay by her eggs, making sure they stayed warm and safe. The king of dragons, toothless, walked over to his queen and gave her an affectionate head nuzzle, before trotting to the edge of their cliff. as he raised his wings to take off, planning to see if the terrible terrors had been causing trouble again, he heard is mate call for him. he turned to look at her, but she didn't meet his gaze. instead, she chirped excitedly as one of the eggs began to crack open. as all three eggs began to crack, toothless rushed over to meet his offspring. both parents let out a coo as the first hatching cracked through the shell and toppled out. a tiny fury, pale with dark accents, who couldn't even open it's eyes yet.

yeah, this took a long time. i just really wanted to practice the light fury and the watercolor tool.

coming back to this, as most artists do, i realize the light fury looks like the bad luck Brian meme lol. thought i would share that thought with all of you
