我叫dancingalicorns。我的父母都从北中国来到美国。我爸爸妈妈都会说中文。但是，我的中文不那么好。明天，我的姥姥和姥爺会来美国。我真开心！

OOF. That was some grammaring going on. I was born in Amurica and the first language I spoke was English, so I struggle.
I take lessons though, so that helps.

大家好，我是kaede，可是请叫我kae！我自己是加拿大人，可是我父母亲和哥哥是中国出生的。我们现在是住在美国。我中文是不太好，可是因为我今年上高中要学AP中文，我想努力学，努力习学习。
每次要跟老师说中文的时，我突然变特别害羞，不知道要说什么。问题是，很多时候，我知道我想说么，但因为我家庭是从南方来的，我一点口音，说话可能不是最准的。我看到很长的文章的时候也有点想发晕。脑子已经习惯用英文来想事情了哈哈

hello everyone, i'm kaede, but please call me kae! i myself am canadian, but my parents and my parents are chinese. now, we live in america. my chinese is not that great, but because i'm taking ap chinese this year in high school, i want to study hard
every time i speak with my teacher, i suddenly become nervous, not knowing what to say. the problem is, a lot of times, i know what i want to say, but because my family is from the south, i have a bit of an accent, so my pronunciation isn't the most accurate. when i see really long stories/articles i also become dizzy. my brain is too used to thinking in english ww
hope i can chat with everyone!

idk what chinese grammar is anymore lol pls lmk if something is wrong or if i used the wrong character orz

that's pretty good so far! you can download a simplified chinese keyboard on your phone or computer, if you haven't done that already. if nothing else works, i've found that google translate is half decent at giving you the characters you want to use if you input the pinyin. although translating full sentences can be kind of wonky at times, it's still a helpful asset if you have a general idea of what words to use or if you recognize what sounds good and what .. doesnt dskfjsdgjkh
