Fursuit Thread V2 OPEN (New Poll)

Hey there peeps. So i’ve Been wondering if someone on here could give me a better explanation of what a furry actually is. I have received different answers from both my friends and google. Thanks in advance~ I thought this would be the place to come, as it seems interesting and I’d love to own a fur suit at some point, I found this really cool picture of a Bernese mountain dog one <3

Whatever you want it to be tbh. Everyone defines it differently, but at it's core it's just an interest in anthropomorphic animals. Not everyone who meets that criteria is a furry though, it's more of a self label. I know people with ocs and fursuits who don't consider themselves furries and also people with little interest in ocs and/or fursuits who do consider themselves furries. It's like calling yourself a sports fan or a harry potter fan, theres all different levels of interest/involvement but it's all tied to a core subject.

AC was a blast! I was particularly happy to see so many kids fursuiting with their parents. It makes me so happy that they're doing something they love because I know when I was that age I would have been way too scared to do something like that. Plus, AC is super family-friendly and attracts a lot of people from the city, so I think it's awesome that "normal" people come to see the parade.

I’m making another sona. Her name is Macha jou, and she’s a green kinkajou with purple eyes, a pink-tipped tail, blonde hair that fades into purple, and a nice pink pearl necklace. I really want to show her, but unfortunately I used random art i found via google and traced the lines for a basic shape because i have never drawn a kinkajou and couldn’t find any free lines. Actually, I didn’t find any kinkajou lines. It’s just for personal use-I just finished it in ibispaint and once I can get lines that i drew or I have permission to use I will definitely show her!!

I’m pretty sure this is fine because I’m not showing or taking credit for her lines at all, but I will delete her if this is against any rules.

I finished up my new personal partial yesterday!! I'm hella pleased with how this guy turned out and can't wait to debut him at comic con later this month!
Took this as an opportunity to try out a bunch of new things so I revamped my neck and paw pattern a bit and managed to make horns, hair and floppy ears for the first time without any issues. I also included a velcro tongue and pickable nose in this guy just like I did in the last one so I think that's going to be the default in my suits from now on ^^

Oh my gosh I love that suit! I’m currently working on making my first ever suit. I’m planning on having the tail, head, hand paws, feet paws, and arm sleeves done in about a week from now. How long have you been making suits for? They look amazing!

Thanks! That’s amazing for your third suit! And don’t worry, I already have a lot done so far. I just gotta finish it up since I’m going on a trip to see my grandparent’s in a week and I’d love to be able to surprise them.

Hiya! So I’m currently working on my second partial, but this is my first attempt at proper puffy paws. Could anyone with experience please give me some tips or criticism? I can’t afford both pink fur and pink vinyl for the pawpads and other parts, so I used closely cut fur for the paw pads.
