Oekaki on New Mac

I've always wanted to try Oekaki, but I can't on my newer Macbook OS X Snow Leopard. Whenever I click "New Drawing" the page comes up blank. I'm not very computer savvy, but I know something is off because Oekaki works on my account on my brother's PC.

I was having a lot of problems with the Oekaki when I got my mac. Do you have the latest version of Java installed? If not, try installing it and it may work.

I remember when I got my mac, I had to do something kind of weird to get it to work. It was awhile ago, so I don't remember exactly, but I had to install java and like drag the little download thing into the hard drive. I'm sorry if this isn't helpful. I can't remember exactly. xc

Does anyone remember how to do this? Again, I'm not computer savvy at all. In depth instructions needed.

That's the URL for the latest java. Try installing it and restarting your pc/browser.

My computer updated and restarted and nothing changed. :/

Have you made sure none of your browser settings/firewall settings are blocking chickensmoothie in any way?

Trying to think of common solutions since I don't have Mac experience to know exactly.

Also which browser are you using? Safari?

I don't know how to do that... And no, I'm using Firefox.
