Alhar came back to the world, shaking his head to clear it. "Um... shouldn't we wait for the others?" he asked, looking to the stairs. Most of the time he was the last one up, sleeping till about noon. He hosted his sword higher onto his shoulder, not sure what to do. He didn't make decisions like this and he sure didn't want to start. He kept looking at the stairs, his back turned to Sae, he didn't want to look at her, he didn't want that feeling to come back.
--
Elenwen looked off in the direction Halmoru had left in, she had the odd feeling he wouldn't be coming back. She would have felt sad but she couldn't let herself be that way anymore, she had lost her clan and now she had to stand alone. She heard someone shouting. She turned around, the sommoning spell for her sword on her lips, she relaxed when she noticed a boy. He told her it was dangerous out here, she couldn't help it she laughed. "You must not know who I am, this place isn't any danger to me." she said with a smile, that unseen wind returning to sweep up her hair and sashes, the bells of her dress jingling. The raven flew back with it's beady little red eyes and landed on her shoulder, examining the boy.

Acadia examined the girl, his smile charming and kind. He was no threat to anyone who was not a threat to him, making friends was a gift of his. Remebering his bloodied hand, he quickly stuffed it into his pocket, his grin turning sheepish once again. When she started to laugh, he cocked his head to the side, a quizzical expression on his face. Though, when she explained that there was no danger, at least not to her, he still looked confused. What did she mean? This forest was loaded with danger, even to a well-adapted elf like himself, let alone to this girl. She looked like a half-elf half...something. Definately not whole, but she still had the beauty of any elf. He caught himself staring then adverted his eyes, mentally scolding himself before turning them back. He asked curiously,"What do you mean? This forest is a threat to anyone. You ought to have some sort of company to keep you safe." When the ebony bird went to sit on the girl's shoulder, he examined it curiously and added,"Pretty bird."
September won't you bring me some rain again?
This sun is melting my skin,
And I would give you anything to feel something else
September falls away 'till I'm broken, I just hate the sound.
And I can feel the water changing me, it's changing me for good.
Bite down, hard. Bite down.

Elenwen gave a misceviouse little smile and held her arm out for the raven to land on it, "I have a companion, do I not?" she said, the raven continoued to stare with it's unblinking eyes. This boy was an elf, she hadn't seen many that didn't throw stones at her and shouted half elf. She could feel the mist drift back around her feet, she truely hated that mist, "I don't believe I have properly introduced myself; the name is Elenwen Elinora of the gypsies." she only then remember her clan's destruction and pasued, was she really a gyspy anymore? Yes, she had always been one and always would be.

"Whatever you want to do." She said with a shrug. She watched him closely, a twinge of pain in her heart formed when she noticed he didn't look at her. She didn't blame him, she was kind of freakish even for Ravenloft. It didn't help she was also an assassin. Or atleast once was. She fluttered her wings and put her blades away. Her eyes were downcast as she tried not to look at him anymore.

When still no one came down stairs Alhar knew he would have to say something of things would only get worse "So... What has it been like for you around here?" he asked, not sure what to say. He wasn't an inspired conversationalist, he didn't actually stay around people that much. He gave a little smile, seeing that she looked a little sad. He made it look fake though he really did want to cheer her up.

She looked up at him and noticed his reassuring smile. She mentally cursed for letting her emotions show. She reigned them in and her face became void of any emotions.
"Fine. Other assassins try to kill me almost all the time along with other things." Her voice was calm, collected and she shrugged slightly.
"The normal for the most part." She said with a harsh laugh.

Alhar raised an eyebrow "Fun." he said sarcasticly. He looked around at the inn, none of its inhabitance looked friendly. He leaned against the edge of the table, to lazy to stand but not wanting to sit down. He kept smiling "What was it like growing up here? Must have been a lot different than the way I did." it was meant as s joke though it didn't quiet sound like that. His childhood would be looked on as charmed if his mother had still been alive and even then it was pretty good. It had gotten worse once he hit his teenage years but that wasn't something to talk about right now.

The former assassin narrowed her crimson eyes at his sarcasm, and then looked away. She could tell he didn't really care much for the conversation. That or he wasn't good at making one at all.
"How was it?" She echoed harshly.
"I was an orphan, I have almost no memories of my parents. I was "adopted" so I could be trained as an assassin. They tortured me to get my pain threshold up and so I wouldn't be attached to anyone." She said spitefully. She looked towards the window again, her eyes closed. Tears made them sting but she kept them from spilling. The training had failed. She still showed emotions too easily and still got attached to people. That was what caused her to leave, to abandon her life. And even then she still failed to save Mallik. She shook her head to clear it of that name, that time..

Ash slowly began to stir, her eyelids flickering some as she stretched out her wings behind her, lifting them up from where they had been laying across her body. She finally opened her gray eyes and pushed herself up into an almost sitting position, her hair falling down into her face. She yawned some, and once a few minutes had passed, she no longer looked as innocent as she had in her sleep, but instead looked more sullen, more like everything that had happened in her life was beginning to destroy her.

.:Anamerak:.
The elf watched curiously, his head tilted as her mask of reserve reformed.
"Morning." He trilled cheerfully. He sat up as well, leaning againt the wall and smiling sleepily. He stretched, and looked at her curiously.
"Did you sleep well?"
