I guess my friendships are going well. Also, my sister's cats seem to trust me a lot, of all people. I'm on good terms with her boyfriend too, and he seems to share many of my interests. It's nice that we can chill without the awkwardness and tension from the first few months of them dating.

^ Is also a perfectionist. I totally relate, and that is exactly why I didn't used to make more "abstract" pieces at all, but as of recent I've started making myself ignore the perfectionist in me who hates out-of-place color or lines in order to let my creativity loose a bit. I've found that I enjoy it a lot more than I enjoy making art where every line and dash of color has to appear deliberate.
