“Good idea. I am glad that you brought her here. We can keep an eye on her. Go figure it out partner.” He said with a smile.

Jaxon looked at him, he smiled and kissed his cheek, "I am going to and talk to the man who did it.' he said as he stood and headed to cells.

Luke smiled and nodded. He knew he could do it so he let him go. He hoped he could figure it out soon.

Jaxon got permission to go back and see the man, he knocked on the cell door.

The man sighed. “Yes officer?” He asked. He was so tired of all of this. He just wanted to go home.

Jaxon looked at him, "I want to hear your side of the story." he said as he opened the cell door and leaned against the frame as he watched the man. His wife was the one who died, and he did seem upset about that.

“I was walking down the street with my wife and caught a girl trying to rob a bank. My wife was trying to call the police and she wasn’t happy about that. I tried to get the weapon but it didn’t work. The girl fired off a few shots and called the cops and somehow got them to blame it all on me. I am completely innocent and she is running around while I am stuck here. Not that anyone believes me.” He said with a shrug. He was upset by it all and there were no signs he was lying. He sat there and rubbed his face. “This is all a mess.” He said.

Jaxon frowned as he looked at the man, he nodded, "So your wife never touched the gun, how many shots did she fire?" he asked as he watched him, he was going to get to the bottom of this, he wasn't going to let someone innocent go to jail, "It is a mess, but I am going to get to the bottom of this, okay?" he said.

“I’m not totally sure... at least three...” he said. “I’m sorry I am not more help...” he said. “She didn’t. She was too scared. All she did was try to call the cops.” He said. “I hope you do get to the bottom of this. I broke into her house because I wanted my wife’s ring. I know she has it.” He said. “That was all I wanted. Not to hurt her. I was told she wasn’t home...” he said.

Jaxon nodded, "I will take a look okay, and I will find the ring." he reassured, "Do you know where her phone is?" he asked, he hadn 't seen the phone in evidence.
