My newest and second hundo legendary - Kyogre!
I got him yesterday during the raid hour, he's already powered up to level 31, and while he has a bit more to go to level 40, I'm excited! He'll be joining my gorgeous hundo Dialga in causing mayhem!

Ack congrats on your hundo! But I have to say I am super jealous of your hundo Dialga. He's my favourite of the legendaries and I couldn't get him when he was in raids, because I absolutely sucked at curveball throws at the time. Now I'm just patiently waiting for his return lol

Haha thank you! I was shocked. My friend had to take my phone because I'm horrid at curveballs and was shaking too much with shock. It was crazy haha!
But I love my dialga, he's maxed out (as seen here! <3)
I have literally no dust to work on my Kyogre though so he's stuck at level 31 oopsie. Too many trades!

I am jealous of the shiny Kyogre that Dama got, and you know what? I am just jealous of anybody that manages to get my favorite legendaries, shiny or other wise. Do you guys think that any of Deoxys Formes will eventually be available to get through the research breakyhroughs? I would love to get its Speed Forme, but can't do any raids, and there's not a single Ex-Raid gym near me.

Hehe. I was lucky to get shiny Kyogre after only three raids. We went to both Raid Hours and one of my friends, after completing about 12-13 raids in total, didn't manage to get a shiny at all.

Regarding Deoxys, since the point of Ex-Raids is to get 'exclusive' Pokemon and you can't just simply go to them unless you have an invitation, I don't think you'll see any of its forme's anywhere else. As far as I know, Ex-Raid Bosses have not existed outside of those raids (not including those times Mewtwo was put as a regular tier boss for certain events). It could happen, of course, but I think it's really unlikely.

My friend has 3-4 shiny kyogres and someone else in my group had five. I had 0 until I was traded mine, so I'm glad that I got him - he's absolutely horrid in stats, but a good spare to play with!

I agree with Dama about Deoxys though, it's not really likely if you ask me! I wouldn't be surprised if they bring it to normal raids - as they did with Mewtwo while they prep for the next EX boss (which we think will be Arceus!), but I'm not sure! It's hard to say what they'll do!

I did 10 Raikou raids, caught ALL of them, but no shiny.
Others in our group had 2-4 by this time, only two others were equally as "lucky".

A friend caught 3 and once I have something for them, they'll trade me Raikou.
At least I have the chance to get it, but let's be honest, it's always nicer to get the Pokemon yourself. >w>

No Alolan shiny yet either.

I also participated in both Kyogre raid hours, no shiny on the first day (8 raids), but was lucky on the second day and got it on my 2nd raid. <3 Since I already had a shiny Groudon, I'm skipping the next raid hours.

i finally got my first shiny legendary with raikou !
i did seven raids, i think? i'm not sure because i failed to catch a few of them.

my brother has had a ridiculous amount of luck, catching a shiny alolan exeggutor, a shiny alolan geodude and a shiny raikou.

I wish that I have a group to go and do raids with. I do have a friend, who asked me what team I am on, and when I told him Valor (He's on Mystic I believe) he told me that we're enemies. I just roll my eyes at him. That is not what Pokemon Go is, to me anyways. Yeah there's teams, but I don't know. Then again, we both have different mind sets.

I have a question that I had about raids for a while now though. If you're in a group, and Let's say Kyogre knocked out your entire team, do you lose your chance to capture Kyogre?

Same tbh,, I only have my level 13 dad and level 30 mum, otherwise I rarely see my friends out of where I do school/work (Not saying because I respect Tess's rules and it would reveal my age.) I wanted Raikou so bad qq,

you don't loose your chance, you just have to select a new team and rejoin the battle and catch it if you defeat it.

Sooo Raikou was horrid for me, haha! :,D
I was 0 for 19 as far as shinies, and I never saw anything above a 1950! (1972 was a perfect for those curious)
I'm not crazy upset about not getting a good one, my very first one was a 98% IV babe and I love it dearly! However, my friend did almost have to take my phone away from me because I was going to throw it in the lake by about raid 11. :,D
He did get two, so when he and I become lucky friends, I'll be getting his spare from him! I'm hoping for a lucky shundo!
Also, it didn't end too badly. I was able to do a three-man of a Shadow Ball Raikou with my friends (Shadow Ball was the hardest moveset) and we did beat it with 6 seconds to spare. That was the last raid, and we were against the clock for sure - if we failed, it was over because Raikou was gone as soon we started battling. I was a tad bummed that that wasn't my shiny, as that'd have made for an awesome trophy, but I did catch that one! I don't plan to ever get rid of it, because I'm crazy proud I was a part of something so challenging!
All in all, I personally enjoyed it and I'm excited to get a lucky shiny Raikou in the future!

Honestly, about the Valor-Mystic thing - it's crazy how people take it seriously near me. If you're one or the other, you have to be enemies (supposedly). I know of people who will knock others out of gyms because of their teams. It's kind of funny in a weird way? Mystic and Valor are against each other and Instinct is just there enjoying life - taking whatever gyms they want and no one cares about that.
This isn't how everyone plays of course - but I do see it a lot because people take it seriously! I've met awesome Valors (I'm Mystic), and awesome Instincts, too! I'm just a happy player who gets along with everyone, but I do see a lot of feuding going on. I myself have only one gym I care about, but since I've gotten gold on it, I've been a tad lazy. But, I've been fighting for that gym for 2 years, and I prefer to try and keep it - even if it's out of the way!

But yeah, like wanda. said with Kyogre, you don't lose your chance. Back in the day, if the raid disappeared (i.e. the timer was done), if you fainted out you were done. However, they did fix that - so it's next to impossible to lose your chance! The only time I've seen a problem is if you glitch out, you may not be able to rejoin the lobby for some reason and either a.) everyone else beat it or b.) the timer does run out and you're not in a lobby.
