Helios was born into the herd, but shortly afterwards his mother died. So, he was taken on
by another mare, and once he was old enough started straying farther, and farther away f
rom her. Sometimes, he would even stray a good ways away from the herd, before he was
called back. Finally, when the lead stallion chased him away from the herd, he joined ano
ther group, but as older ones died off he decided a herd just wasn't the life for him.

Thalia was born into the herd, and even during her younger days she was as reckless as
ever. Her mother often told her, that one day she would get herself in so much trouble it
would hurt her. Of course, she never thought that would happen, until one day she stray
ed to far from the herd, and was almost attacked, before another horse saved her. When
the older horses, began to die off it scared her, but she'd never admit that to this day.

Gaia was born into the herd, but her mother often had trouble caring for her. She was an
older mare, but always told her that she was going to be there for her no matter what. H
owever, her mother died before she even turned one. She was very close to her, and was
quite hurt afterwards. When others began to die off, she took it upon herself to be like h
er mother, and be there for the few that had survived the sickness.

Pᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: A brute with emotions. That's what you'd call Kairon. Although most Oldenburg horses have calm, easy going temper, Kairon inherited his dam's fiery temper. And just like her; is slow to show emotions. Kairon's dam believed that since separation is inevitable, it is wiser to be detached to her foal. You'll find this colt arrogant and impersonal, but deep down Kairon is a loyal, family-orientated horse, but only extending his affection towards those he trusts and earned his respect.

Hɪꜱᴛᴏʀʏ: Born in a large herd of Oldenburg horses, Kairon learned early on to fend for himself. So when the day came to kick him out of the herd, he was prepared. While the other younger colts were desperate, hiding behind their dams, Kairon departed. Not long after he settled down with a bachelor herd, rumors of a infectious plague broke out. It's been a month now; with the roaring monsters having ceased to come and go, Kairon heads out, curious of the empty valley below, and hoping to find himself some fillies.

𝙿𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢: An extremely social horse, Kahlia enjoys herd life to the fullest. On the surface, she seems shy, but once the ice breaks, you'll find this filly to be an energetic friend. At this point in time, Kahlia do not wish to be covered by the reckless, young colts roaming around, but if she had already begun a new cycle this year.

𝙷𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢: When the cough begun spreading Kahlia was certain it was temporary. It would soon be gone and herd life would return to normal. Unfortunately, the contagious disease found their way into every single adult horse in her herd until she was the one of the few left healthy. Not long had went by when two-legged creatures came with roaring monsters took her sire, dam and the other adults away. That day, Kahlia took off with the other foals, yearlings and managed to hide. But misfortune followed them; the young nursing foals, unable to feed on grass died soon after. The rest of her herd mates fell prey to various predators in the valley.

𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎: Kahlia took a big blow when she was left alone, she was terrified to spend the last month alone in the canyons. The young filly had tried to follow other yearling horses, but her small statue made it difficult to keep up. Recent events had left the filly extremely skittish, bolting at every foreign sound and smell. These instincts had kept her alive for the past month, surviving on her scattered knowledge taught by her dam.

𝚂𝚝𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚐𝚝𝚑𝚜 & 𝚠𝚎𝚊𝚔𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚎𝚜: Kahlia's small statue forces her to seek safety in herds. Alone, she is a relatively easy meal for large predators. To make up for that, the small filly has excellent stamina and speed for her size.

Hɪꜱᴛᴏʀʏ: Growing up, Sábia had always been the inquisitive
one; prodding around and asking questions was her all time
hobby. While the other foals in her herd was play fighting,
Sábia would watch the older horses, copying their behaviour.
From the best places to forage, how to evade predators, to
the secret hideout in the canyons. As a result of this, the
young mare had always been picked on by other foals and
youngsters.

Tʜᴇ ᴅɪꜱᴇᴀꜱᴇ: When the cough slowly made its way into every single adult
horse in her herd, Sábia was afraid. Afraid of losing her family, and afraid
of being alone. But she had promised her dam she would survive, lead
the other foals into the canyons to seek shelter. Now time has passed,
Sábia ready to return to the valley.

Sᴛʀᴇɴɢᴛʜꜱ & ᴡᴇᴀᴋɴᴇꜱꜱᴇꜱ: Inheriting her dam's genetics, Sábia is a hardy
filly well adapted to the harsh conditions of the wilds. Her stockier build
sacrifices speed for endurance.

Pᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Ziva had always been a fiery spirit ever since she was born. Ziva never shy away from an argument with the other foals, she had always been the one to deal with the problem head on. Majority of that part of her manifested when she was trying to protect her dam, showing the other horses they were not targets to harass when times were rough. Because of her dam's old age, she took it upon herself to care for the mare. Beneath the tough outer shell, lays a kind individual who cares deeply for those around her.


Hɪꜱᴛᴏʀʏ: Ziva's dam was a very old mare, who lived through blizzards and droughts throughout her life time in the valley. She taught her daughter everything she knew along with the other foals, as she knew her time would come soon. The unfortunate event had struck just 6 months before the plague. Her frail dam was caught by beast, unable to keep up with the rest of the herd. Angered and depressed, the filly blamed her sire for been unable to protect his herd and promptly left her birth herd. Not long after, news spread of a new disease, but when Ziva returned to her old home, she found nothing but stale scent and unclaimed lands.
