i have two cats! percy a four year old male and tiny a two year old female.
i'm trying to harness train tiny, and i think day one went pretty well. i let her check it out, applied the idea that the harness is associated with treats, and got her to slip her head through it. with it on she wasn't too pleased so after five minutes i took it off of her. with a little bit of training and positive reinforcement i'll hopefully be taking her on walks in no time! after i took the harness off we played and now she's curled up on the floor sleeping. ♡

I don't know wether to take him in, as I have a cat of my own, or if I should take him to the vet or if I should just continue to look after him in my garden. We have plans to put out a little box type thing with a catflap lined with carpet for him to sleep in, but what do you think? He's very friendly and social, and very vocal.
This is him
I wouldn't suggest taking him in, as he may have an illness that your other cat can catch. If you're able, you should try to take him to the vet, at least to get that injury looked at. After that, you can just release him back into your garden and continue looking after him.

So I need some solutions:
My family has three cats all with claws obviously, But they have a habit of scratching our couch and chair in the family room. I know theres some deterents that make it unpleasant for them to scratch. We're actually looking for something that can deter them whether it be a sticky type of thing or a smell they don't like.
Anyone got any solutions they have scratching posts and a cat tree but the couch problem is that we can't get a new couch which we kind of need unless we can find a solution that gets them to at least do it less frequently.
Note we aren't going to use a spray bottle of water that doesn't work with our cats, and I'd rather not make my youngest cat whose an incredibly nervous cat to begin with have more to be nervous about.
We obviously don't like that they scratch but we also understand they are cats so it's going to happen but like I said before it would be ideal if it was less frequent.
Edit: Anyone have any suggestions or things they've done to deter scratching on furniture it's always in the same spots on the couch and chair.
