Timothy makes a noise but nods his head. "Alright. That sounds reasonable." He mumbled.

"I won't be long." Vaughn promised, placing a kiss on his forehead before standing up. "Let's go."

Timothy nods his head, smiling as he takes vaughn's hand then gets up. "Yeah. Lets go. Sooner the better because then it'll be over quicker." He stated confidently.

Vaughn leads him to R&D, though pausing when they get outside the department because his echo's gone off a few times. He swallows a lump in his throat, reading the messages, before placing a hand on Timothy's arm. "You go get checked out. I'll be back soon." He said, leaning over to give him a quick kiss on the cheek before rushing off.

Timothy makes a noise but nods his head and watches vaughn run off. His tail twitches side to side as he stands there a bit longer before finally heading in.

By the time Vaughn shows up, there's already a battle. Ze warned him they were approaching but he didn't think they'd show up that fast. He swallows a lump in his throat, pushing through fighting bandits, but it looks like they're already losing the battle. They were prepared for the possibility of Timothy being there as well, with their own beast to fight back with. They were useless.

Ze had tried to prepare the children of helios as best they could. But they didn't expect it to be this bad, and they didn't expect them to hit this soon. They'd been hoping for more time. Heck, Ze really had been hoping vaughn would bring timothy. But when they did spot vaughn, and no lawrence. Not good, not good at all, they needed something to try and turn this battle into their favor.
