Xander nods. "Gotta be comfy right?" Xander sat down next to her and stretched a bit before laying down and staring at the top of the tent. "I believe so, still got to travel a bit to the meeting spot and set up something."

Catherine nodded and moved to lay beside him, placing her head on his shoulder. “Makes sense,” she murmured softly, her eyes towards the top of the tent. “Are you nervous?” she asked, looking up at Xander this time instead of the ceiling.

Xander yawns and closes his eyes and moves a blanket on top of them. "Honestly? Yea I am nervous, we could be at war in a few days depending on how this goes." He put his arm around her so she was more comfortable and he opened his eyes and smiled at her.

Catherine wrapped an arm loosely around his middle as he spoke before looking up at him with a tired smile. "I can understand why thats nerve wracking," she murmured, moving her hair from her face. "But, I'm sure that you and your dad could figure out something that will work." she told him as she closed her eyes for a few moments. She figured that him and his dad were good at figuring out solutions, and they were very kind. She was sure that it would blow over.

Xander finds it hard to keep his eyes up and he looks at her. "Hmmm yea we are pretty good at clearing things up... I hope we can this time. He falls asleep quickly, being quite tired from lack of sleep and how the day has been going.

Though Catherine had only meant to close her eyes for a few moments, they didn’t reopen and she fell into a deep sleep quickly. She seemed to find it easier to fall into a cozy sleep when she was tucked up next to Xander, something about it made it easier, made her feel safer. She slept soundly next to the boy, her head still laid on her shoulder where she had placed it before falling asleep.

Xander was calmly asleep when he was with Catherine, unsure how it all works but it helped when he knew she was near him.

Catherine stirred as she started to wake up, the smell of food hitting her nose had woken her up. She opened her eyes but didn’t move any further as she didn’t want to wake Xander. She stayed laying against him, after all... it was comfortable.

Xander remained asleep and looked pretty calm while he was sleeping. After 10 minutes or so he finally woke up and looked around tiredly and saw Catherine and smiled. "Hey you.. I see you are comfortable." Xander also smelled the food and looked towards the entrance of the tent.

Catherine opened her eyes and looked up at him as she felt him shift before she smiled as she noticed he was awake. “Goodmorning, did you sleep okay?” she asked, hoping that he had slept better that night than he had in a while.
