Daniel shrugged, "Don't worry, I'll have a different dorm before you know it and then you can have all the privacy in the world, I'll be perfectly fine, really" he insisted kindly.

He nodded, looking down with a sheepish smile as he followed her to the room to lean against the doorframe and watch her unpack. "Yeah, I play 19 instruments, perform here and there, I produce my own soundtracks and backtracking and I'm majoring in art and music here" he informed with a small cheerful smile. "What about you?" he asked, curious to know more about his roomate, even if they won't be roomates for long.

Kat looked up from her unpacking as he spoke, impressed by the massive pile that he had on his plate. “That’s really impressive, I don’t have much of an artistic bone in my body.” she replied, it came out in a slightly joking way and followed it with a little laugh. “Oh. I’m a pre-law student. I’m studying to go to law school after this, become a prosecutor.” she told him proudly with a smile. She had always found law to be interesting and always watched it on the tv or her computer. Anything from Cops all the way to Divorce Court.

Daniel nodded, smiling at her, "That's pretty cool, you're smart I take it?" he asked playfully, looking down with a small chuckle before sighing out a content breath.

"So, is there anything I should be addressed about? Like are you the party type? Do you bring guys-or girls over? Will you be under the influence much at all? I just don't want to be in those situations so I'd rather know in advanced so I can go sleep in my car in the parking lot" he explained half jokingly, raising an eyebrow.

Kat chuckled softly and shrugged “I wouldn’t necessarily say that,” she responded, cracking a little smile. She looked back up at him again as he spoke, figuring that it was a good idea to talk about such things. “Not usually, anything like that would be done outside of the dorm. I don’t like bringing people into my room.” she responded, nodding her head gently as she finished setting up and then stood up. “What about you?” she asked, tilting her head slightly.

Daniel shook his head with a small laugh, "Me? Never. I wouldn't ruin my good reputation to go to a sketchy party" he insisted with a smile.

"And me bringing people over to the dorm, most likely not, if you haven't heard by now I'm one of the biggest nerds in the school, I don't bring people over at all" he shrugged, admitting with a smile. It was pathetic really but he kept his smile on looking down and watching her get up. He let out a small sigh, "So, when do your classes start?" he asked, curious to know.

Kat looked up at him and nodded as he spoke, she understood that. Not many people enjoyed going out, it was understandable. She smiled lightly at his statement, she didn’t have many friends at all at the moment so she didn’t have any people to come over either. “Uh, they start at 9 on Monday, I believe.” she said as she tried to find her schedule before unfolding it. “Yeah, Monday at 9. What about yours?” she asked as she looked up at him with a polite smile.

Daniel nodded, "Mine start on monday too, at 9:30, I wouldn't mind walking you to whatever wing you're in" he offered. The girl intrigued him and he felt he should know more about her.

He wanted to get to know her more, and he wanted her to be safe, campus was huge and their dorms were on the east wing of the whole building, but he knew since she was taking law classes she'd be up in the west wing, as for he was in the north. But he wouldn't mind going out of his way for his roommate, he needed the new friend.

Kat smiled a little, she was glad he was nice. Or, at least seemed to be. She didn’t have any friends yet, so she definitely wasn’t about to turn down the opportunity to make one. “Yeah, sure, thanks!” she responded, hoping that it wasn’t too far out of his way. She didn’t want to inconvenience him, but getting to know him better would also be a great idea being they had no idea how long they’d be rooming together.

Daniel smiled sweetly, "No problem at all" he insisted, folding his hands while stepping back into the hallway, he looked at her with a small toothy grin, showing off his small tooth gap.

"I don't know about you but I haven't eating breakfast and I heard there's a small diner like next door. I want to get to know my roomate better and I wanna offer to share a small brunch, I can pay, I don't mind it, but if you have other things to do then it's understandable, I can always just go by myself and bring you something" he insisted kindly, a small blush playing on his cheeks as he let out a small embarrassed sigh, "In the meantime, while you think about it, I'll be in the living room playing my keyboard, I'm leaving in like 20 minutes so just let me know by then" he said, leaving to go and sit on the small bench and turn on the keyboard. His fingers hovering over the keys before playing the instrument, as if they had a mind of their own, Daniels eyes closed as they glided across the scale, playing a constant rhythm softly as his head swayed with the music, the song identified as 'Good Things Fall Apart' by Jon Bellion.

Kat nodded and smiled, grateful for the offer. She watched him leave before digging to find her purse in the mess that was currently her room. When she had finally found it she looked to see what money she had and decided that she had enough and it wouldn’t hurt to go out and learn more about him. She walked out to tell him, but paused to listen to his music. A small smile touched her lips as she listened, a soft hum emitted from her throat, she enjoyed the song that he was playing, one that she knew. “You’re really good,” she told him, hoping that he didn’t mind that she had been listening.
