★ -- about the species

notice: please re-read all of the rules, as most of them have been edited or changed.

the chokii are are a semi-open species. anyone can make or breed them, with certain restrictions.
occasionally, artists may be commissioned or requested to make legendary or rare chokiis for other
users to adopt.

• you may not claim chokiis as your own, and may not remove the signature. you may not edit the main
lines of the adopt outside of the allowable edits listed below.

• any user may make a chokii for themselves or any other user, and any user may make chokiis to be
adopted by other users.

• for every three [3] common chokii a user makes, they may make one [1] uncommon chokii. for every
nine [9] common/uncommon chokiis made, a user may make one [1] rare chokii. users are not
allowed to make their own legendary chokii.

• users may accept payment when approached for commissions, but may not use chokii lines to advertise
their services. users may not sell pre-made designs using chokii lines.

• users may have their higher rarity chokiis made by someone else, but it does count as the
recipient's higher rarity and not against the user who makes it.

• users may gift or adopt out higher rarity chokiis that they have earned, but are not allowed to sell
them or use them for commissions.

• each chokii must be posted on its own page under the original artwork, and must include a list of edits
and the rarity level of the adopt within the main post. covers and "adoption centers" are not allowed.
example.

• off-oekaki chokiis are allowed, but must be approved using the off-oekaki approval thread. off-oekaki
chokiis may not be posted using the oekaki board.

• chokiis uncommon and above must include links to previously made chokiis as proof of rarity earned.
for example, when you post an uncommon chokii, you must include links to the last four common chokiis
you made. you only need to include the most recent adopts that earn you uncommon or higher:
example.

• chokiis still cannot be sold, or traded for anything but other chokiis.

chokii have many recorded mutations that occur naturally within the species, and can be found
listed below in the order of frequency in which they can be observed:

non-rarity edits
[edits which are not accounted for in breeding, and do not count as any particular rarity]
scars, missing limbs/eyes/toes/other body parts as a result of physical trauma, weight,
body type

common traits
small horns, antlers [two prongs], short fur/hair, sclera color, teeth edits, claw edits, pupil
edits, tail edits [long], tongue edits, backmane, heterochromia

uncommon traits
medium horns, antlers [three to four prongs], long fur/hair, ear edits [floppy],
tail edits [medium], extra toes, dwarfism, bio-luminescence/glow [less than 10% of
entire body], feather growths [small], scale growths [less than 10% of body]

rare traits
large horns, antlers [five or more prongs], ear edits [half-way up/half floppy],
tail edits [small], missing toes/limbs [max of 2], bio-luminescence/glow [less than 30% of
body], feather growths [medium], missing eyes, scale growths [less than 30% of body], colorful
blood, dwarfism, extra eyes [max 2 sets], goop [less than 10% of body], little wings, plant
growth [less than 30% of body], extra sets of horns [max of two], horns on body [small], halo,

extraordinary traits

★ -- staff + strikes/bans

• abusive behavior will not be tolerated within the community to any extent. any user found breaking
chokii rules, or being hateful/toxic within the community may be subject to strikes or an immediate,
permanent ban.

• one strike will result in a warning. two strikes will result in probation. three strikes will result in a
ban, the length of which is determined by the owner. any strike received after a temporary ban will
result in a permanent ban.

• users on probation must have every chokii or breeding approved by the owner. they may not roll
their own traits when breeding, even if they are for other users.

• banned users may not make their own chokiis, may not have chokiis be made for them, may not use
the official chokii lineart in any capacity, may not breed their own chokiis, and may not have other
users breed their chokiis for them.

• any users who make or breed chokiis for a banned user will receive an immediate, permanent ban.
