Misadventures of the Lost Light

"So you're the one who stole her spark, huh?" Izzy asked with a smile before looking over at Eureka. "He's a keeper if I ever saw one." She said with a playful wink. Starscream blushed at that.

[the machine]

Eureka chuckled. "he already is a keeper. we've been Conjunxes for a year." she told Izzy.

[Kia_Bee]

"Congrats, mate!" Izzy said with a wide smile before picking up a covered cage. "Poor fella's in here."

[the machine]

Eureka looked at the cage. "let's have a look"

[Kia_Bee]

Izzy nodded in reply, uncovering the cage to show a male kookaburra inside. He looked up at them, his right wing hanging limply by his side. "Poor mate got shot by some glitch helm. Thankfully it was only small pellets, but it still hurt the poor fella."

[the machine]

Eureka was surprised. "shot? he was shot?" she asked, a hint of anger in her voice that someone would shoot the bird as she looked at him. he spark broke to see the little creature in pain

[Kia_Bee]

"Cool your jets there, mate. I was just as upset about it as you. I don't want to rial you up anymore than you are, but let's just say Laughing Boy's lucky I got there when I did." Izzy said.

Eureka took a deep breath to cool down. "Alright. Let's take him to the med bay so I can look at him"

[Kia_Bee]

Izzy nodded, following Eureka to the medbay. Once there, she carefully held her arm out for the bird to perch on.

Eureka inspected the damage on the bird once she and Izzy were in the medbay. She was very careful and gentle. "It's just the wing" she told Izzy. "I might need to operate"
