gosh it's been forever since i've posted here haha. probably because i haven't coded any fancy signatures for myself, or even in general in a while. i kinda stick to small simple ones, i've been happy with them lately. i wouldn't consider myself rusty or anything, just, unmotivated?? lmao

your new signature looks lovely!! i adore the pastel colors, pastel purple is really pretty imo.
unfortunately since i'm on a chromebook, all the middle text shows up as boxes for me. i'm sure it's fine on a windows computer though, as i also have one of those and all fancy text typically shows up fine on there. if you were curious as to what it looked like for me, x

i think it looks nice! the colors are good and the images you selected work well together. i would probably push it all together using left columns, though, because it feels a little spacey at the moment.

I'm planning on getting into coding. I was wondering how to keep things within the proper size of a signature. I think its 700x300. But do you normally do your coding within the signature editor on your profile and just preview or is there a better way to make sure you're within the bounds?

That depends entirely on how big your signature is. There's two different "size limits:" the one for PM windows/signature editor preview/most mobile devices using a desktop theme, and the big 700px wide absolute limit for normal desktop browsing. I'm not sure of the exact pixel width on the former, but that's the primary distinguishing factor. The height limit doesn't change until you start getting into forum post coding, which I'm pretty sure has no limit beyond the actual post character limit (which is a whole other can of worms and I'm going on a confusing tangent I'm so sorry)

If you're planning to make your signature small enough to fit in PM windows, you can absolutely use the preview button. It's when you get past that mark that things start breaking, namely with the entire column containing the overflow getting pushed down to the bottom of the signature

If your signature gets too wide for the preview window, your profile (or one of your forum posts, they both have basically the same width limit) replaces it. I keep one tab with my profile open and another open for the signature editor. From there, I continuously submit my changes then switch over to and refresh my profile tab to see if I like what I've done/if it's caused the column to get pushed to the bottom

hi! i recently started to get pretty decent at signatures and such, and im trying to open a shop (ive already started) but im having second thoughts? i feel like maybe im not good enough to open a shop. i like how they look but i like the minimalist style so maybe thats just me. i would greatly appreciate an opinion on my current signature, and maybe on the examples i have listed on my shop. i dont want to open a shop if i dont have the skill yet.

i've only been running free signature shops but i might open up one when my coding gets better

i love the outcome of signatures or codes I've been working on forever, when you hit that little preview button and it's all neat and tighty. my least favorite is accidentally hitting the back button, having to restart, or not being able to figure out a mistake
