Xander smiled and laughed a bit then held her hand back walking back towards the castle still. Once they arrive Xander looks around for his father. Then asks one of the guards. Guard tells him that the king has been looking for him and is preparing to head out now and needs the prince to come along. "Needs me? The two kingdoms meeting up?"

Catherine’s smile dropped a little at the news that Xander had to leave. If the kingdoms were meeting up, that could be a good thing. Right? Or something could go horribly wrong. Her heartbeat quickened slightly at the thoughts but tried not to show her nervousness as she shifted her gaze from the guard back to Xander. She offered him a little smile, hoping that everything would go well and wanting him to think positively as well.

Xander walked around a bit nervous and confused on what is happening so he goes to continue to search for his father and finds him. "Hey father, your going to need me for this?"
The king looks over at Xander and smiles slightly then nodding. "I will need you for this son, who know you could probably fix this issue yourself? (Hint hint ;3) I will need you to come, I know you are with Catherine so she can come around if she wishes, we can give her clothing and care for here while she is with us but we gotta go quickly before anything else happens from that other kingdom." The king has servants moving clothes and preparing other things for the trip and head in and out of the rooms of the house to a carriage and things.
Xander is taking this all in and is a bit nervous and confused and is worried for Catherine and him.

Catherine watched him go before nervously biting her lip once he was out of sight. She moved to sit in a bench in the palace garden, waiting to hear what she should do. She was unsure if he wanted her to return home or not, and she didn’t just want to assume and leave if he needed her. She crossed her legs and looked down at her feet, lost in thought.

Xander heads back to Catherine. "Hey. it seems I will have to leave to go help my father with these matters with the other kingdom. I am not sure when I will be back, but if you wanted to you could also come along, we have stuff for you if you wanted to. I would understand if you wanted to stay though." Xander goes to sit down next to her and looks at her.

Catherine looked back up and over at him as his voice shook him from her thoughts. “I can come with if you’d like, I don’t want to be in the way.” she replied, watching him closely. She wasn’t sure if she was even supposed to attend these kinds of things, or if she’d be in the way of anything. But, she definitely wouldn’t mind tagging along and watching the meeting.

Xander nods. "I would like you to come along, it would be nice to look around at our lands and heading over there." Xander goes over to her and hugs her. "It could be fun, at least some of it and we will have stuff for you to wear and eat so you wouldnt have to worry about any of that."

(I had something else and I thought I sent it but I guess I didnt and I dont remember what I had there Dx!)

Catherine smiled a little at his hug and hugged him back, glad that he wanted her company. “Then yes, of course I’ll come.” she replied with a nod. She stood back up and brushed her skirt off. “Is it a long ways to get there?” she asked curiously, tilting her head a little.

"I believe its a few days away is where the meet up is." Xander smiles at her and holds her hand and gets prepared to leave with her. "Would you need anything from your home before we leave the town for a few days?"

Catherine held his hand back and smiled at him. She shook her head “No, I don’t believe so,” she responded, moving herself closer to his side. Mentally she worried that something would happen to come between them during or after this meeting, and remaining closer to his side made her feel a little bit better about it.
