The barrier had been broken for years now, all thanks to the little child that went by the name Frisk. The Monsters are much happier now, having their own houses and jobs and discovering so many new things they could never dream of existing. All the monsters seem especially excited to see the sun, especially when it set even after all the years that have passed when they were freed. It was one of the most beautiful sights they have ever seen, most going right back up to the mountain just to get a good view of it. Everything is going well, peace being with the humans and monsters, despite some humans protesting and making chaos, but they just try their best to avoid the bad and instead focus on the good.

Everything was going normal until one day, someone had noticed new monsters arriving in town that hadn't been seen before, even by the monsters that were around. It had started with only one until more had popped up all around town, coming from absolutely no where and confusing many people, even themselves. They didn't seem to know where they even came from, and they didn't seem to recall how they had gotten here. What was odd though was that they looked like the monsters that had been here first but with slight differences, and it was certainly strange.

Nevertheless though, the strange Monsters were welcomed with open arms in the neighborhood, and given their own homes until they could figure out the source of the problem, and return them to their real home.
