Xander kept eating the food he was given happy and tired. "I am not sure.. we will have to see how things are going at the castle. A note slides into the house and there is a man at the door that goes away quickly. Xander looks over towards the door and sighs slightly. "They know where I am..? and where you live now?" Xander gets up to read the note. "It seems bad, they seem pretty impatient and have progressed towards our land more."

Catherine nodded to his response, still eating her food contently. She glanced over at the door as she heard the scrape of the paper against the floor and shifted uncomfortably in her seat. She didn’t necessarily enjoy the knowledge that those men knew where she lived, especially after the threat that they had given her. Silently, she watched grab the note and read it, biting her lip nervously at the news “That’s not good,” she replied, her tone a little lower as spoke. She didn’t know much about politics between kingdoms, but he knew that it wasn’t a good thing if the other was getting closer. “What now?” she asked, playing with her fingers slightly nervously before eating the last of her food.

Xander goes over and sits down at the table and finishes his food. "Well Our armies will stop them from progressing further and I hope there is a meeting taking place soon before anything happens. I am not sure if I would have to also go for this. Who knows what is going to happen in the next few days."

Catherine nodded again to his words as she listened, watching his closely. She was slightly worried about what it all could mean and what would happen in the future. “I hate not knowing,” she said with a soft sigh and a shrug of her shoulders.

"Yea I agree I do not like not knowing anything at all. We could go now to see if we can find somethings out." He gets up and stretches then picks his plate up and cup and moves it elsewhere, A little unclear on what to do with them. Afterwards he rubs his eyes and starts to go get ready for the day.

Catherine smiled lightly and moved his dishes to the sink along with hers as he went to go get ready. She washed the dishes in the sink as she hummed a gentle tune quietly. When she was finished, she set them out to dry before standing by the counter and waited for Xander to be done.

Xander gets dressed with his clothing and then walks back downstairs and looks over at her. "Alright I think I am going to be as ready as I am ever going to be. Sleepy but I'll get over it." Xander looks over at her to see if she is ready to head out.

Catherine looked up at she heard Xander coming down the stairs and smiled. She nodded “Hopefully you can sleep better tonight,” she told him, giving a small sympathetic look. She stood up from leaning on the counter and brushed off her skirt before walking with him to the front door “I guess we’ll find out if your dad heard back from the messenger,” she said, half to herself since she had a habit of thinking out loud. She held the door open for him as she walked out and smiled back at him.

"I hope so as well, unclear though if I will." Xander walked out the door and looked at Catherine. "So your the one opening doors for me now? How the tables have turned." Xander head back to the castle with Catherine. Xander is nervous about what's going on with the kingdoms.

Catherine smiles at his words, a small chuckle left her lips. “I won’t make a habit of it,” she teased and laughed softly again. She moved to hold his hand gently as they walked, watching the area around her.
