Marble (M) and Azul (F)

Part 1

Azul:

I was looking at the blackboard, or, seeming to, but I was really looking at him. I heard that he was a jerk, but I couldn't help but to like him. He was broad shouldered, with his gorgeous brown eyes, and his pure white teeth. I sighed inside, and forsakened myself to a life without love. Who would love me? Me and my stupid blueness! I thought angrily. The teacher, of course, then called on me.

" Azul, what is the square root of pi? " She asked in her brisk voice.

" Uh, uh.. um 25? " I guessed, knowing I was wrong. I blushed furiously in embarssement as the class erupted into laughter. The teacher shook her and tsked tsked. Marble raised his hand.

" Yes Marble? " Asked the teacher. Marble glanced at me and said, " The square root of pi is 3.14, Mrs. Faulkner. " He lowered his hand and I put my head on my desk in shame. Of course, the teacher made everything worse by saying " Azul, I think you should stay after class, cme to my desk once class is over! " Urg! I am so stupid. Now he will never like me! Tears welled up into my eyes, and I brushed them away angrily. After class, I went up to Mrs. Faulkner and she scolded me. I just held up through it. She was really making me mad. I made one tiny mistake and I have to be held after class! After she was done, I stormed out of the classroom. I wasnt looking at where I was going, and I crashed right into Marble.

" Uh.. huh, Hi. Sorry! " I squeaked. His paws were gripped around my shoulders, because he had automaticly grabbed me so I woundnt fall.

Part 2

Marble:

I looked down at Azul in surprise. Is she afraid of me? If she is, I better let go! I quickly let go of Azul and realized that I was taller than her. I looked down.

" Sorry, I should of been watching where I was going. " I gave her a small, hesint smile. I was relevied when she gave me one back. I stooped down to pick up her books after a few akward moments.

" Wait! You dont have to do that! " Azul exclaimed. She bent down too and as I looked up, we bumped heads.

I laughed and rubbed my forehead.

" Are you okay? " I asked carefully, as she wasnt laughing with me. She was hunched forwards, covering her face. " Azul? " Her name came out of my lips strangley. " Azul? " I asked again.

" Go away! " She replied, her voice muffled. I smelled it then.

" You are bleeding! " I exclaimed, worried. " Why didnt you tell me? " I gently seized her face in my paws and turned it side to side, ignoring the quicking of my heart. I heard her breathing faster, and her heart beating more, and realized something. She is afraid I will hurt her again! I let go of her face and waited for her to move away. But she didnt, and I found myself captured by her hidden beauty. I just stared at her, then spoke.

" Um, uh.... " I cleared my throat, and tried it again. " Your nose may be broken, but that is where the blood is coming from. " I waited for her response. She blinked a few times, took a deep breathe and spoke.

" Yeah, um, I think I should go to the nurse. " She then got up, turn on her heels, and strode down the hallway.

Woah. She just left her things here. I must of really terrifed her! I gathered her things, and just stared at where she left.

Part 3

Marble:

I shook my head and hurried after Azul.

" Wait! You forgot your stuff..... " I trailed off when she only walked faster.

Wait! If I dont return the books now, then that means that I can use them as an excue to see her later!

Absentmindly, I flipped through a notebook that was labled in big letters: MATH I kept flipping, wen I saw something that stopped me cold. In big letters, in the way back, were :

I LOVE MARBLE!

With cute hearts all around, and little cupids. It was very artistic, and she was a great artist. But I had it all wrong! I thought she was afraid of me!

Oh, well, she likes me! Well, do I like her. She is very pretty, and she seems very sweet. I think I will give us a try. I thn set off to confront her about the notebook

Part 4

Azul:

I was morrified. My nose was dripping all over the place, I left my notebook with Marble, and there was something in there that was very privite! I heard Marble call my name and tell me to wait, but I ignored him and ran into the office. The secretary took one look at me and just handed me a towel from one of her endless drawers and said in her bland voice. " The Nurse's office is down the hallways, two doors on your right. " Then she went back to typing. I stoofd there, then I went to where she pointed, sticking my tounge out at her as I went.

Oh, I lalalalove it Please continue, can't wait to see how the story goes on

Azul:

I surppressed a shiver as the Nurse's cold paws took my face in them. She tsked and shook her head slowly.

" You dont have a broken nose, but this shouldnt of happened, unless you tried to headbut a soccer ball! " She said in her nasally voice. She laughed, a high pitched, loud, unpleasent sound. I winced, then quickly stopped as she turned towards me.


" You should take the day off, sweetie. I will call your mommy and you just stay there and wait like a good little girl! " And before she could protest, she had stuck one of those cheap lolipops in her mouth

♂ Kedar ♥ Adele ♀

"This is stupid! You shouldn't have to do this," a girl commented with a impudent humph and a flip of her hair. While short true, the girl seemed very much fierce. Stark black hair framed the pale picture of a face, with flaming red tips to burn a strong memory. Staring from beneath those dark bangs were the bluest of eyes; icicles to cool the fires of her hair. There was not even a simple pupil to break the girl's cerulean irises.

"I don't have to, Adele," the male before her replied, his tone giving cue to the goofy grin upon his face. His helmet was strapped to the large pack lying at his feet, and his once golden locks gone. "I'm doing this because it's my own choice," he added with kind, grey eyes.

"Well then you're stupid," Adele remarked sharply, stepping on her toes towards the sound of his deep voice.
"Oh really?" the male's brows raised to his forehead. "That's not what you were saying last night. In fact, I recall you calling me, what was it again? A god?" he smirked as one hand brushed against the side of Adele's face.

A chuckle escaped the girl's smile. "That's bed talk Kedar. You're still stupid."
"Why'd you'd agree to marry such an idiot then?" Kedar asked, not once seeming hurt by Adele's comments.
With only a smirk, the girl replied, "Heat of the moment."
"If that's the case, don't marry me." Kedar remarked so simply, that anyone else might feel worried.
"Hey, you can't tell me what to do! I can marry you if I want to!" Adele crossed her arms stubbornly, not once blinking at the sun as she held her head high.

Kedar smiled at the girl, having always enjoyed these little conversations of theirs. He gently guided the girl into his arms, his warm breath falling on her face. "I promise, I'll buy you a ring when I get back."
Adele shook her head, "Just promise me you'll come back."

Kedar's only answer was simple. His hand fitted beneath her chin, lifting Adele's lips up to his. He held her there, trying to convey all he wanted to say. There was so much, but only one of which he wanted to say the most; the loudest message of all, 'I love you'.

Ding, dong.

"Adele, can you get the door?" a woman called from the kitchen.
"Sure ma, ask the blind girl!" came Adele's own sarcastic answer. She heard her mothers apology, but ignored it as she heaved herself from the couch. Feeling rather sure she didn't need her seeing eye dog for this task, Adele shuffled heavily across the carpeted floor. "Hello? Who is it?"

"Ms. Adele Cary? I have a letter for you from the Army. May we come in?"
"Oh yes, of course!" Adele ushered the two men inside with a friendly grin and sat them down. With only three weeks to wait before Kedar came home for a visit, his letters were getting more frequent, to the point where she sometimes got three at once.

The first man hesitated for a moment, his arm extending the little packet towards the girl. It took a while for Adele to realize what exactly he was doing. "I'm blind. I can't read it." Adele laughed lightly as she eased herself gently back onto the cushions. "No one filled you in on this job, did they? You'll have to read it back to me."

"Oh, I'm sorry," the man whispered sympathetically. Adele's alert ears caught the gulp that slide down his throat as he handed the letter to the second male to open up and read. Excited, the girl sat there waiting for the only part of Kedar she could get to quench her thirst of him. Just three more weeks, and they could be together. She couldn't wait to surprise him!

The second male was far more posed and calm, with a strong voice that rang clear as he began to read out. "The secretary of the Army regrets to inform you--"
"No."

"No," Adele repeated more fiercely, but could not hide the crack in her voice. "No," she cried out more desperately, salty tears already brimming. Her gut twisted sickeningly, her hand flew to her mouth as she sprang to reach the bathroom. However, she couldn't make it, and instead fell to her knees to spew across the living room floor. Her limbs trembled from the effort to hold herself up, bile still clinging to her throat.

And this time, it wasn't because of the baby.
