At What Age Do Rarities Show?

I'm new to the website and I was wondering how long it took for rarities to appear for adopted animals. I assumed it would happen a little after they are full grow but that does not seem to be the case. I would appreciate it if you took the time to inform me please.

It takes 1-3 months for rarities to be revealed ^^
