She perked up at the mention of Yuichi coming from a long line of meisters. That was interesting, she'd certainly never heard of his family,but since she hailed from England, she didn't seem too bothered by that fact. Akira quickly made her way out of the room after Sid had gotten their names written down and what not. She listened to him speak,content in keeping her mouth shut for once.It wasn't that she liked talking a lot, she didn't really enjoy it much, especially not in front of large crowds,but when she did begin to speak it was usually a speech. She had been trained to speak formally, therefor all her sentences seemed longer than they should have been. When her new partner finished speaking, she turned to look at him,eyes sparkling with delight."That's amazing!What weapons are you used to using? I don't know if you heard but I have two forms, a bow and a staff." Akira looked a bit nervous,glancing away from Yuichi. She didn't want to disappoint him if he wasn't used to,or didn't like the two forms of weapons she could take. She should have introduced herself before forcing the boy to be her partner,but it was the heat of the moment and she just couldn't figure out anything else to do.

The blush slowly subsided from her face as she relaxed a tiny bit,though they still were getting stares as they walked down the hallway, it wasn't anything she wasn't used to. Akira did begin to worry about Yuichi, from what information she'd gathered by his behavior and words, he didn't like to be the center of attention, in fact it seemed to make him uncomfortable, something she was slightly familiar with."I've never had a real meister, you know. This will be my first time being wielded by someone other than the maids or butlers around the castle. . .So I apologize ahead of time in case of any mistakes on my part. I should have informed you of such things before I forced you into this partnership. I'd understand if you didn't want to partner with me, on account of this information." Towards the end of her words she began to mumble,tears forming at the corners of her eyes. Of course she didn't want him to leave her, as she felt,no she knew, she wouldn't be able to find another partner that she connected with like Yuichi. She'd have to return to England,a failure to her family,her country, and her subjects. The thought sent a shiver down her spine, but she wiped her tears away,hoping he hadn't seen them.

Yuichi was surprised that the girl had stayed as quiet as she had been although, he suddenly became slightly uncomfortable by the sound of her almost crying, he wasn't brought up to be able to deal with other's and their emotions, especially when they were crying or about to cry. He crossed his arms uncomfortably, once the Princess goet herself together he then looked at her. "It's fine," he said tightly as he could tell others had seen the girl's tears and were now glaring at him for a different reason then before. As they came near an empty classroom he pulled her inside, "I have experience with many, many weapons. I'll definitely be able to use you in battle if I have to." He studied the girl before him, she was on the smaller side and didn't seem as if she worked out or anything of the sort but didn't seem out of shape either, her eyes were red and puffy from crying earlier, but other than that she seemed fine now.

"I don't think being a weapon his hard it's just about your wavelength and all that fun stuff. We just have to match soul wavelengths eventually its not that hard," He sat ontop of one of the desks and pulled out pocky he'd hidden from his aunt. Staring at Akira as he ate the pocky absentmindedly, "Honestly the struggle isn't going to be you, but me," He mumbled more to himself than the girl standing in front of him. He was ready to take a long nap during class and not have to talk anymore, the past hour had been wearing.

Akira let out a soft yelp as she was pulled into the classroom, not quite expecting such a sudden movement out of Yuichi. She slowly nodded her headat his statement of having used many weapons before. Another interesting fact from him. She bit her bottom lip as he pulled out the package of pockey, eyeing is with curiousity. Of course she knew what pocky was, but seeing the treat reminded her of a game that went around the DWMA last year. Something everyone referred to as the 'pocky game'. She hadn't ever seen anyone play it,or so she thought, but around that time she had seen many people kissing in the hallways some of them holding boxes of pocky in their hands but thats besides the point, the girl assumed it was some sort of game like drawing sticks or something of the sort.She opened her mouth to speak,but closed it when he piped up again,biting her bottom lip. He didn't think being a weapon was that hard?! How dare he say such things! Akira quickly reigned her thoughts in,taking a deep,calming breath."It will take effort on both our parts. But I'm quite confident we'll figure it out sooner rather than later." Akira took the middle route, not wanting to take up her side in this conversation. It wasn't ladylike to start an arguement over something so trivial now was it? She let the silence settle over them for a minute,before her eyes darted back to the pocky and her thoughts drifted to the game everyone had been talking about.

She cleared her throat,standing up and making her way over to Yuichi. She sat on the desk with him,turning her body so it was angled at him."I'd like you to teach me how yo play this game I keep hearing about." she stated,though it was more of a demand than a request. Akira pointed to the box of pocky,before folding her hands neatly in her lap."Others around this school were playing it, but never taught me how. Since you have some pocky on you, now would be the best time to learn so I can understand what it is." the princess's voice was firm, and she seemed determined to have her 'request' fulfilled.

[size=107]At the Princess's request the pocky fell out of his mouth in surpise. He knew what the pocky game was, though he'd never actually done it. He had never been interested in those kinds of things, and thought the Princess probably wasn't but that was now changed. The girl looked determined which was a weird look for a Princess of her age. He ate another pocky stick without answering. He didn't know how to answer to this kind of demand, he didn't want to teach her how to play the pocky game but he'd explain it.

Yuichi opened the box of pocky and pulled one out for her. "I'm not going to do it but i'll explain it. Basically it's a game to get people to kiss, usually people who are close do it for fun or people who aren't see who can eat the most pocky and kiss someone or something like that i've actually never played it myself," he said matter-of-factly. He looked at the girl, handing her the pocky and adding, "and I'm not starting today no matter how much you want me to i'm not like that," He said. Though he hated school he didn't like the idea of a relationship or liking someone either. "And you're a Princess, shouldn't you have a million guys waiting to play that game with you?" He mumbled, eating another stick of pocky. The idea of playing that game with Akira made his cheeks turn a light pink, he angled his body away from hers, hopefully getting the point across. [/color]

Realization crossed the girls pale features, her cheeks turning a dark shade of red for what seemed like the millionth time that morning. This had not gone the way she had intended, she had dig herself a hole and had no way to get out of it. She stared at Yuichi, her mouth slightly opened as if she were about to say something, but no words came out. After a few minutes of shocked silence she spoke up, her voice shaky and squeaky."I uh, didn't mean anything like that!" she held her hands up,trying to dismiss any thoughts he might be having about who she was and how she behaved "I didn't know what the game was, thats ignorance on my part." She stared at the treat in her hands,before delicately eating it,as if it were some exquisite dessert she'd get at a fancy restaurant."And for your information, since I didn't know what the game was until now, I never accepted any offers to play. And now I wont be accepting any offers because that's not appropriate for a lady such as myself to play.
. . I've also never kissed anyone before so i wouldn't even know how to." she mumbled the last part to herself,eyes glued to the floor.

The princess was once again quiet as a mouse,not sure what else to say. She hadn't expected the comversation to go as it had. In fact it went in the complete opposite direction, all due to her ignorance and lack of understand the new trends and what not. Life as a princess seemed easy to some,but its not all butterflies and roses. Akira wasn't a normal teen, she didn't know any of the latest trends, or the latest bands and things of that nature, which was all the more embarrassing for her. Being sheltered and kept inside a castle for 14 years left her in the dark about a lot of things,
especially things of the romantic nature. She glanced up at Yuichi,giving him a timid smile before turning away again,biting her botton lip once more.

Yuichi suddenly wished even more that he was at home sleeping, the Princess had asked an awkward question which now made him unable to break the silence that seemed to fill the room. He'd never grown up around others that weren't a part of his family, everyone he met that was near his age were all family members. And even then he didn't really hang out with his family members, it was more about competition than actually forming relationships with his cousins, aunts or uncles. Eating another stick of pocky he glanced at the girl next to him, her cheeks were a bright red from the conversation and she seemed to be deep in thought about something. "Really you could have asked anyone so why ask me?"

It made almost no sense to him that she would have been curious about the game before but decided to ask him. If he was curious about something he'd ask, but most the time he didn't really pay attention to other students when he was at school. He was often caught sleeping during classes or not being there at all if he really wasn't feeling it.

Akira sighed heavily as his question, which broke the silence that had filled the empty class room. She didn't dare glance over at him however,taking a few minutes to work up the courage to speak."I don't quite know myself, if I'm being honest." she said softly, closing her eyes. As odd as it was, even after only knowing this boy for a mere few hours,she felt comfortable around him. She shuffled a bit on the desk."I shouldn't jave askdd such a question, please accept my sincerest apolog."Gently placing her feet upon the floor, Akira hopped off the desk,and made her way towards the door, her face still a beat red. She waved for him to follow her, knowing class would be beginning soon and they needed to get there as fast as possible.

As Akira exited the empty room, the remaining students in the hallways stared, taking in ber blushing face and the seemingly indifferent, if not a little uncomfortable looking boy follow her out. There was no doubt rumors would be spreading around campus as fast as a wild fire. She knew it was suspicios walking out of an empty class room, with her face bright red, and a boy following behind her. With her cheeks turning a crimson red she shuffled down the hallway, keeping her eyes on the floor as she hurried to the class room,entering a few moments before the bell rang. She quickly took her seat,pulling out a note book with a heavy sight.

Reluctantly, he followed Akira down the hallway. He was unbothered by the glares they got, but the Princess seemed to be embarrassed by the other's staring. He knew for a fact that everyone glaring only were doing so knowing that they hadn't succeeded in becoming Akria's meister, which wasn't a surprising fact. Most people assumed they could get what they wanted just because they wanted it, and that was entirely untrue. He knew from experience, just because he really wanted to take a nap at the moment didn't mean he was able to, although most the time he did get away with it. This was the only thing making him even remotly okay with going to class, he knew he could sleep through everything. The teachers here (as his parents had explained before) didn't really care what the students did, well specifically a student that came from a well known family of successful meisters.

Yuichi unwillingly followed Akira to class, it wasn't surprising to be in the same class as her, teachers seemed to always know who your partner would be before they were your partner. He took the seat nearest to Akira, although unlike the good students around him he didn't take out anything to take notes with. Instead he took out a pillow. "Don't let anyone wake me up," he mumbled grumpily to Akira before falling asleep much faster than the night before.

The princess gave Yuichi a stern look before turning her attention back to the teacher.The class droned on,and Akira almost decided a nap would be a much better option than listening to this lecture,but she had to be a good student so she continued on. After a few hours (with half hour breaks inbetween,where she continued to let Yuichi sleep) and roughly half a notebook taken up by notes and various subjects,the teacher, who happened to be Sid,let them go for the days. Glancing at the clock, Akira was a little shocked to find it was already around 1 o'clock already. The blonde stood up,stretching her back out. She looked down at Yuichi,gently shaking her partner in an attempt to wake him up. She frowned slightly, irritated that he had missed the lesson, especially since it was on the first day of class none the less! However she didn't voice her frustrations, choosing instead to hope this was a one time thing but alas she had a gut feeling it wasn't.

"Yuichi, its time to wake up. Class is over and I'd like to practice matching soul wave lengths so we can begin on the task of collecting kishin souls." Another demand. Akira was so used to just telling people what to do, she didn't even realize she was being disrespectful to her new partner. She flattened out her flowy dress, before shaking her head. If he didn't get up she would just leave without him. As the girl waited, a few other students came into the room. They were a year older than her. Two boys,one a weapon and the other his meister. The two came up to her, smiles upon their faces."Well hey there, Princess, looks like that idiot of a partner you have is sleeping on the job. Why don't you ditch him and come with us? You'd be a great parter to me and my weapon here." It was the tallest male who spoke,pointing at a blonde boy with sharp eyes. Akira stumbled over her words, trying to stand firmly in her spot. She shook her head,hands trembling a bit."I'm fine where i am thank you very much. Yuichi is my partner and i don't intend to abandon him" The words were false and she knew it. Just moments earlier she had been thinking about just leaving the boy if he didn't get up when she wanted him to. The tall boy with dark hair reached out for her, Akira moved out of the way the first time,but the second time the princess wasn't so lucky. He gripped her wrist,pulling her close to him. She wriggled in his grip,trying to get away."Its not very ladylike to deny a gentlemans request like that, Winterbourne." he snarled,taking his other arm and wrapping it around the girl. She let out a squeal,kicking her legs frantically trying to escape. The boy that had her in his arms was obvioudly getting ready for a kiss, and Akira was scared out of her mind,she willed her arm to turn into part of her staff form but nothing happened.

"All I wanted was to have a nice long nap." he groaned as he dragged himself out of his chair. He was surpised that the Princess could somehow attract so much trouble, it was just his luck she ended up being his partner. Of course he'd have to partner with someone who acquired so much attention that he wasn't even willing to give himself most days. The guy who was seemingly attempting to flirt with the Princess looked to be a few years older than himself. It didn't really matter how old anyone was, his cousins were all older than him by some degree and he still bested them no matter the situation. "If you're trying to flirt with her I wouldn't recommend it," He said motioning to the Princess, "See because I'm her partner weather you or I care or not, so I'm kinda stuck with her so if you don't mind we have things to go do," he said nonchalantly, he didn't have to motivation to argue with people but if he had to he could win a fight. His attempt at not having to argue with the two guys didn't really do anything, as they just continued on talking to the Princess and holding her close.

Yuichi couldn't believe he was in this station, it was quite annoying, if he knew what he was getting into before meeting this girl he would have definitely steered clear but he was stuck now. This girl was now his responsibility, at least a little bit of his responsibility. He'd only known the blonde Princess for about either hours or maybe even less, and now he was going to have to fight over her like a toy. He didn't know they were in second grade again. If he really wanted to he could leave her here, nothing would really happen since it was almost class time, she'd be fine, a little flustered but fine. But if he did he wouldn't know where his next class was, or have anyone to keep people from waking him up (even though she'd failed this time). Without thinking he grabbed the Princess's free wrist and pulled her quickly towards him, this was one hundred percent going to get back to his mother. But what else would make her happier, he was actually kind of motivated to at least help his partner out. Without a word he kissed the girl. She seemed shocked, which wasn't a surprise, her blue eyes widened at his actions. "If you'll excuse me i'll be leaving now." he motioned to the guys to move, which they did. "Next time anyone wakes me up I will burn this entire city to the ground," He said as departing words to the classroom.
