Prince of the Damned|LeMarc|Head Butler|Half-Demon|Tagged: Lark, lil vamp, boi

    LeMarc takes off after the distant sound of a scuffle, not typically the sound heard when breaking things and the young miss were put together. It tended just to be her breaking a glass and not being able to navigate around the debris, or something like that. Franz would be fine, probably...This was the more urgent matter now.

    Without even thinking about it, the butler reaches out and grabs onto Larkin's hand, tugging him along so they can keep pace together. He doesn't even manage to school the worry evident on his features as he dashes towards the source of the catastrophe. LeMarc knows the whole manor down to its dust. He has an unworldly knack for tracking down problems, which was probably one of the main reasons the staff were so afraid of him. Hard to get away with something when the head butler will suddenly appear right around the corner to scold you. It's easy to track down the little vampire through this, though, and soon they are turning into the kitchen doorway, skidding to a halt as he sets eyes on the scene before him.

    The vampire. The glass. The man. The blood.

    Well, good thing his demonic features had hid away by now. No reason for some random creature to see him horned and on fire. Granted, LeMarc does not remember the name of the man whose blood is ruining the nice, (previously) clean kitchen floor (he'd have to steam the floor to get rid of all the bacteria, ugh what a mess this was). He was aware the man was a guest, and seemed pretty shady at his time of arrival, but other than that, well...Guests don't really take precedent over the Stoker family in LeMarc's book. At this point, practically everyone who showed up at their door was just a punk in comparison.

    "Mademoiselle..." The butler utters in surprise at seeing the young miss kneeling in a puddle of blood. "...Your poor dress."

Lady of the Lake|Eadgyd|Edith|Homeless|Kelpie|Tagged: 'some stupid northerner', 'stolen prey'

    "I...Well...Of course I need-! UGH!" The kelpie wrinkles her nose and purses her lips as her intimidation tactic proves ineffective. How dare this pond scum come in here and not even have the gall to be scared of her! Her, the lady of the lake, the kelpie of the woods, the bane of at least three people's existences!
    She's kind of run out of arguments, though...With a hiss, Eadgyd sticks her tongue out at the northerner childishly. "Well if ya gonna steal from me then I'll steal your prey, hmph." She turns on heel, her hair swinging back and smacking the music man in the face as she lays to focus on the mortal in the mud. "Come on lad, you're mine now." Her lips curl into a smug smile as she grabs the back of the kid's shirt and starts trying to haul him away into the water.

Aerik "Bushman" Gunnarsson
25 yrs / Hybrid / Male / Tags: Viktor + Eadgyd
────────────────────
Bush woke suddenly from his daydream. He hadnt really followed much of their conversation until Eadgyd approached and spoke of him being hers now. He stiffened up and lost his hat in the mud as he cried out and tried to struggle against her. He wasnt really interested in becoming anyone’s dinner at the moment.
“No! No! Let me go, please!” He shouted while trying to perhaps escape by means of shirt. But the shirt was buttoned up and his wet muddy fingers slipped while trying to undo them
He was shaking and trying to use his appendages to slow them down
“I have a family! Please!” He squealed, as a last resort. He didnt know what she was to do with him but maybe.. if he was loud enough he’d be let go. Either that or his friend would stick up for him
“Please! Sir! Dont let her take me!” He cried back toward Viktor. Again, as a last resort.

      Wait a second, did this flying creature just tell spike that she didn’t know how to fly? How was that possible, didn’t every creature with wings know how to fly? Wouldn’t the ability come as naturally as breathing? Spike found himself confused at her statement. Tilting his head he inquired if you have wings shouldn’t you know how to fly? Like a bird you have wings s you must be able to fly. was it actually possible that some flying creatures couldn’t fly? No. they had wings for a reason, and that reason being able to fly. But little did this dog know that creatures such as penguins and ostriches exist, both birds that can’t fly, and there are many more flightless birds. However the dogs train of thought changed as the smaller creature questioned his being there. i’m here with my companion, wendy! We were on a walk, and i smelt so many strange smells coming from this place, so i brought us here. Wendy got us and a strange man inside, then sent me to look for … huh, what did she send me searching for? the dog’s eyes searched the ground before him as he tried to think of what wendy had ordered him to find, however she never told him what to find so it was futile trying to think, but spike believes he doesn’t remember which causes him to worry. i don’t remember. Oh no, she will be mad when i bring her nothing! suddenly the pit-bull stood up, his claws clicking softly against the floor as he did so. i cannot bring her back nothing, what should i do little bat?

      Following arc through the house stella glanced around curiously, taking in the unfamiliar sight of each room they passed. Partly stella wanted to wander off and find arcs dad to follow through on her idea to say some choice words to the man, but for once she held back on letting her anger get the best of her. If she did go verbally abuse arcs father the backlash would probably fall upon arc himself and stella didn’t want that to happen. Pausing outside of what seemed to be a bathroom stella awkwardly waited in the hallway, tapping her fingers against her thighs as arc changed out of the mud caked clothing. Then when he was done changing she followed him into his bedroom. Looking around she was surprised by how clean it was. Stella’s bedroom looked like a tornado had hit it with clothes strewn across, well, everything from the floor to the bed and even on a lamp. Food containers and half drunk drinks clutter the surfaces along with messy sketches of random things. Not to mention her room has an indescribable odor to it. This boy wasn’t your average teen that lived in a pigsty. huh, this is really … clean. her eyes were drawn back to arc as he spoke up, questioning what she meant by manor. At this moment stella realized she had f-screwed up. Of all the stupid things she had said or done this was probably the worst one. She knew she wasn’t supposed to mention the manor to anyone, and by saying anything at all she could put all the inhumans living at the manor in jeopardy. Now stella wasn’t the best liar so finessing her way out of this would be hard. manor? Pshh what manor? I said motel, where’d you get manor from that? You better get your hearing checked cuz i said nothin’ about a manor. was this believable enough? Doubtful. i said “you know you could always stay at a motel.”

      When the little girls grip loosened then released dexter quickly stepped back from the demon child, a pained and angry expression on his face as he glared at the young vampiress. Fiesty little creature, a small part of dexter was impressed with her. No one before had ever attacked him, nor been so vile in their words with him. This was a first, and he was unsure how to react. Masked behind the anger was a feeling of astonishment. Surely this child was something else, a person wiser and less gullible in their ways. Partly dexter was intrigued with the girl in many aspects. The fact that she was blind, a vampire, and bold enough to attack him all gathered his interest. But mostly the man was pissed. He drew his injured hand close to him, cradling it in his other hand as blood trailed down his palm and seemed into his clothing. What a mess this encounter had been, the man was bleeding all over the place. Moving his attention away from the demon child dexter walked into the kitchen and looked around. Pinpointing the sink he maneuvered his way around the spilled lemonade and broken shards of glass. Lunar flew after him, perching herself on top of the refrigerator. The bird kept a close eye on the vampire, looking more like a vulture as she hunched over the edge of the refrigerator.

      Reaching the sink dexter turned the water on and gently placed his bleeding hand underneath the faucet. The cold, running water stung on his injury causing him to wince. The blood washed away down the drain and with his other hand dexter opened his satchel. Reaching inside the bag he pulled out several first aid items and placed them on the counter beside the sink. Glancing back over his shoulder to make sure the vampire child wasn’t after him again he saw a new sight, one that once again intrigued him. The girl was now kneeling on the ground sucking up whatever blood she could get from off of the floor. Like an animal she growled and slurped the red liquid off of her fingers then dunked them back into the puddles. It was a sight to see, really, however as long as the child was focused on something other than him then dexter was, well not happy, but fine with it. Once he was finished cleaning the blood away dexter dressed the wound. A healing potion right now was desirable, however dexters magic wasn’t catered toward healing people. Instead his magic focused on screwing with people’s minds.

      As he was finishing up dexter heard the sound of footsteps coming fast toward the kitchen, someone must have heard the commotion and was coming to investigate. Turning the faucet off and placing the first aid items back into the satchel dexter turned and faced whoever had just run into the kitchen. Two men, the head of the manor larkin stoker, and the head butler lemarc. The butler didn’t seem to pleased at the sight before him, and the first thing out of his mouth pertained to the girls dress. It was time to put on a new face, one less angry and more friendly. i apologize for the mess, it wasn’t my intention to bleed all over the kitchen floor. dexter smiled apologetically, his expression one of remorse. He was creating the guise that he felt sorry about the incident, he didn’t really but it was best to stay on the good side of the head of the manor and staff … for now that is.

      Guilt weighed heavily on evan as his mind swirled with every choice he had ever made that ended up going badly. His whole life seemed to be full of one tragic screw up after another, the negatives far outweighing the positives in his head. It was hard to see the good in anything after what evan had gone through, and although there were many good moments in his life, he could only focus on everything that ended badly. The pain was overwhelming, his chest felt tight and he felt as if he was dying all over again. Every passing moment he spiraled further and further into his regrets, giving into the heartache and pain. Fifty years of bottling up emotions was finally bursting through and in the worst way possible. No longer did evan feel numb but instead overwhelmed by it all. He started to hysterically laugh, his pupils going wide as he gripped harder onto himself. His eyes were aimed at the ground before him but they were unfocused and glassy looking. Within the sea of thoughts raging in his head one prominent question rose up what is wrong with me? the thought got washed down under the waves though as dozens more rose up. you don’t belong here. You deserved to die. You are a killer. You deserted your family. You are weak. You are useless. You are worthless. You are nothing. it was too much to handle. The hysterical laughter faded and evan began to cry again. Evan wished he could fade away and not hear his own voice telling him these things. With his eyes squeezed shut again he couldn’t see that his wish was coming true. His form wavered in and out of existence, fading more and more with each demoralizing thought.

      Softly he muttered no under his breath over and over again as he tried to bottle up these thoughts, but they were too powerful. Everything around him had faded out as he focused on his thoughts more and more, but a light flickered on in the darkness. Movement before him caused evan to raise his head. Before him kneeled katie with a worried expression on her face. Why was she worried? As she spoke he tried focusing on what she had to say, it was hard to do but her words carried over to him. It wasn’t his fault? Even didn’t believe it. He blamed himself for so much. If he had just been a little quicker in getting him out of that pit, or if he had run a little faster or dodged the bullets better things could have ended differently. you’re wrong, he quietly said in return. He blamed himself for everything. For getting his friend killed, for getting himself killed, and how his death affected his family. He felt as if he needed someone to blame and who else was a better target than himself. However katie had grabbed evans attention and managed to pull him from his deafening thoughts. While he still focused on the sea of demoralizing thoughts which didn’t end they did begin to quell as he listened to katie’s voice. Not only that but the spirits body slowly stopped flickering and started turning translucent once more. His eyes lost the glassy look they held before and his crying softened into light whimpering and hiccuping.

      A surprised feeling filled evan as katie too opened up about her past. He hadn’t expected her to share such a story, she simply didn’t seem like the type that wanted to talk about her past. But here she was opening up to evan, trusting him with this painful memory. A look of empathy came into the spirits eyes as she finished speaking. Lowering his head evan heavily breathed in, trying to find the ability to speak without breaking into tears again. Wiping his cheeks with his shoulders he finally found his voice. is that why you’re afraid of going into town? You don’t want to be captured again? he softly asked before continuing, people can be cruel and vicious. You’re a kind person, you didn’t deserve to experience that. Thank you, though, for sharing. You didn’t have to yet you did. looking away from katie the spirit grew ashamed. He had shared a major part of his life and death, something he didn’t want to talk about yet he had. Not only was he ashamed for sharing such a traumatizing experience but katie had watched him go through this emotional outburst and mental breakdown. i’m sorry for breaking down like that. I don’t know what happened. I’ve never … i’ve never done that before. everything was garbled. Evan didn’t feel like himself anymore, the walls he had built up over so long had been brought down and nothing felt right. Strange feelings, emotions, were running rampant in his head as they flowed past his barriers. However at the same time evan was starting to feel numb. The tears had ceased a few minutes ago and he felt exhausted, not just mentally but physically, for the first time in decades. It was a lot to handle and evan didn’t know how to cope with it all.

||Larkin Stoker | 26 | Human | Head of Household | Homosexual | Location: Room | Tags: LeMarc, Mika, Dexter||

Larkin didn't even notice his grasp with LeMarc's, it just felt so natural that it didn't process in the midst of everything. He wasn't prepared for the sight awaiting for them as they entered the kitchen. Blood on the floor with his niece drinking from it. A guest nearby who was clearly the one wounded and whose blood was probably on the floor. To add to his horror, Dexter had confirmed his suspicions of where the blood had came from. As it seemed like leMarc was going to attend to Mika, Lark decided to go for the guest. "Mr. Black, I am deeply sorry for my niece. You have no need to apologize at all, are you okay?" Lark said sincerely, trying to keep his semi professional composure as he strolled over to Dexter. He seriously couldn't catch a break from this crazy place that he called home.

||Adelia Lewis | 18 | Human | Maid | Heterosexual | Location: Hallway | Tags: Fal||

Adelia smiled and was glad that the butler's cool demeanor had changed quite a bit. Her grip on the history book had loosened a good amount as she felt more relaxed and comfortable. "I am not doing anything actually. I think playing a game of chess would be quite nice." She said rather softly, slowly rocking on her feet and waited for him. Now, Adelia felt a little nervous since she actually didn't know how to play chess. Chances are, he wouldn't probably teach her either but she has seen a few games in the past from working here. Would it be obvious if she tried winging it? There was only one way for her to find out which was to go for it.

||Deirdre Scarborough | Appears 25 | Spirit | Cook | Heterosexual | Location: Ballroom | Tags: Marc-Anthony||

~~~~~
||Katheryne Grey | 19 | Werewolf | Homeless | Heterosexual | Location: Evan’s Cabin | Tags: Evan||
Katheryne perked up a bit when she noticed that Evan had stopped flickering and had returned to his normal form again. Hope filled the werewolf a bit which made her fell a little less silly and vulnerable for telling one of the stories about her past. Perhaps it was a good idea after all, even not, the spirit deserved a bit of knowledge of her past anyway. It was only fair, even if she didn't exactly want him to know the woes of her past. As well as to figure out that something must be wrong with her, as she always ended up alone. Although it was rather natural, Katie found herself slightly surprised at the look in Evan's eyes and felt a little bit more sheepish. She hadn't meant to gain his sympathy with her story, just to help him understand. "Captured is the nice way to put it but yes. That is the main reason why I am so scared of the town." Namma had promise that Airedale was different but nothing could make that suffocating fear go away. Katie raised her eyebrows slightly when Evan called her a kind person and that she didn't deserve it. The werewolf wasn't sure about that but she did agree people could be cruel. "You didn't have to either and yet you did as well. There is still a lot more so maybe if you stick around, you'll hear." Katie said gently and a little bashfully. One corner of her mouth lifted up as she gave the spirit a half smile, even if he was now looking away from her. The expression then softened as Evan apologized for his breakdown and she tried to comfort him. "Hey, hey.. It's okay. Maybe you just held everything in for too long? Maybe you just needed to let it out for someone, who knows? I'm still here and what matters is that you are too. You really had me scared there for a second..." Katheryne muttered the last part and let out a soft exhale as she sat back, giving some more distance between the two of them. Even now, she had no idea what was happening but watching someone fade in and out of existence like that was rather terrifying.
Alexander looks back at Vengal’s eyes when he snorts, a slight smirk dancing across his face. “Yeah, I don’t like the idea too much either. There’s really not much I would rather do than cooking, though I do like to sow and crochet!”
He looks back to the stove with a sad sigh and starts plating Lark’s special meal. He didn’t want to leave Vengal’s side to work, he wanted to talk! Soon, he decided. He could skip eating and he was sure Deirdre wouldn’t mind if he did the dishes late... He starts to work quicker, but still with skill. He never let his work get sloppy. “A manor baby, huh?” He chuckles a little. “Well, I’m glad you’re here, or else I wouldn’t have met you.” He puts the three special orders on a tray and sets them aside, getting out a stack of bowls.
He looks back at Vengal and walks over with them in his arms, you could tell it was difficult for him. “If you want, could you help set the table? I’ll get the cutlery and all that if you get the bowls! That way we can talk sooner.”
Viktor smirks as the woman in front of him starts to get frustrated. He starts to feel less of that undesirable feeling of fear, and his confidence rises again. When she turns to the man he frowns again and grumbles. He didn’t want her to get his rewards! He didn’t even want to eat this guy! All he wanted to do right now was sleep with someone pretty in his arms.
“Hey!” He shouts, trudging through the water after her and grabbing the man’s arm with his cold, clawed hand. “Let go of him! I wasn’t going to eat him! Who do you think I am?” He starts pulling the opposite way on the man’s arm, hoping to pull him out of her clutches. “I just want to fix his bloody instrument so he can leave!”
Alden Weiss ▪ Human Male - 8 ▪ Homeless Townsfolk {Orphan} ▪ Open
He wavered around the streets, looking for something to do. Actually, he did have something to do, it was just the fact that he needed to get to the forest path as soon as possible, otherwise, a certain woman wouldn't be too happy. Not that he hated her...okay, he did because she took his violin away when he wanted to practice it.
Weiss wavered around people's legs, trying his best to get to his destination. He gripped the bow and the neck of the violin, but loosened his grip a little, remembering that the strings should be taken well care of.
He looked around and continued to walk, spotting an odd array of strangers walk miserly around. Quietly, he moved past the array of strangers before heading off into the forest trail. He moved the hand that carried the bow up to his forehead, soon to break off into a run once he heard his name being called out with a screeching rage. Nope, nope, nope, nope, not today, he thought as he quickly hid into some brush.
Merida Lewis ▪ Female Porcilan Doll - An 'Ageless' 37 ▪ Townfolk ▪ Open
She moved her hands down the shirt that she placed on the mannequin, the same shirt that she had for centuries...Was she really that old? Not really. Someone as fragile like her should be put up in a museum...Which, of course, she cannot. Merida stood up from her chair before grabbing the shirt and putting it on, quickly buttoning and lacing the shirt on to her proper fit. She then turned away from the mannequin before heading over towards the mirror, checking out the visible cracks on her face.
Merida, after long thought, decided that she should go out and shop for a bit, maybe something that would fit her and something that she would actually like, instead of throwing it off to the side. Maybe, just maybe, she could convince someone to give her something of theirs?
Probably not, she was not that smart, nor cunning. So, I guess it was just up to her to get something from a store. Merida quickly grabbed some change, some very reasonable amount of money, before heading out of her shabby looking house. It wasn't that bad...Okay, it was bad due to the damage that the weather did to it, and she was in need of some help to fix it up...and to clean out the overgrown grass and vines. Sighing, she headed down the path and towards the town.
Watching as the woman that he had met disappear, Cyrus watched the curiously as he pulled out a pipe of a material that he was familiar with, but he couldn't think of it at the moment as he was curious by the cloud of smoke. However, he moved away a little, not wanting to be caught up the cloud, "Yes, it seems that....would you mind putting that away?"
Then, of course, the man had to show off his cloak. He didn't mind it, but it was a little off settling as he didn't know about the material it was made out of. But he didn't want to question it further. It was questioning why he had such things in his cloak, but he didn't voice it.
He then blinked when the man had mentioned on why they were there, which Wendy just left... "She was here on business, but just left. As for me- I'm simply a guest here. I have no interest in stealing something that isn't mine and pawning it off to some useless idiot." Cyrus moved a hand to cover his mouth so he could hide a yawn, "Now may I ask the same question on why you are here?"
She nodded a little before looking off to the side, "That is good to hear." She then tried to move out of the chair when Valac said that he should get going, but she simply refused to move. "Will you be back?" Everest asked with a slight tilt of her head. She wagged her tail a bit, but it stopped. "I'm deeply sorry for what happened earlier today. Maybe we should've allowed him to be on his way." she muttered bitterly, not being the one to apolgize. But at least she tried.
I'm sure you know where the game room is, correct?" he asked as he turned his head to look behind him. He then looked back at her before heading down the hall, towards the game room. Facilier then turned his head back at her, "Say, if you don't mind me asking, what book are you reading?" he asked, glancing at the book before looking forward so he didn't run into anything.
"Most stories don't have to make sense." Mary said before having Nico's side of the story to continue with Gilbert. He listened carefully, but grimaced at the metion of cabbages. He hated those...wanna-be lettuce...vegtables. They were vegtables, correct? He bounced a little, wating for his turn, and once it came up, he started to continued,
"Despite not knowing where the knight went, Lambchop asked around for the knight only giving a small descprition that could've met the same as Sir Gilbert's, but the young lamb didn't mention about the fluffy tail that the ex-knight had. So, Lambchop had no luck at all on trying to find Sir Gilbert."
Mary stopped to clear his throat for absolutely no reason. Maybe going outside and to town was a bad idea after all? But he didn't let that stop him,
"Lambchop was about to give up all hope until someone had mentioned about a tiger that had a tail that seemed to be like a fox's tail. Curious, Lambchop followed the farmer until he was spotted and forced back to the village. Lambchop was disheartened by this and stayed there until he could find his way to the farm that Gilbert was currently staying at. 'What to do now?' Lambchop asked himself as he tried to find another way to reach the ex-knight."
And there's that. He looked at Nico, waiting.
She shook her head a little, "I guess I was never meant to fly." She looked at Spike and lifted her wing up a little, looking at the tear. Yeah, she didn't care much about it. She then looked back at Spike when he replied about why he was here, and then slowly starting to go into a panic as he couldn't remember what he was supposed to bring back. She thought for a moment before looking back at the hole that led into the walls. "Wait here! I'll bring something to you that you can take to your owner." Stellaluna then got up and scampered to the wall and into the hole, only to come back out with a faux diamond necklace. It was probably fake, she wasn't sure. She then handed it back to Spike, smiling. "Here you go! I'm sure she would like this?"
「Faye Arkwright ♪ 19 ♪ Half-dragon ♪ Gardener ♪ Location: Foyer ♪ Tags: None」
    Faye hadn't been in the manor very long, and in the time she had been there she'd constantly get lost. Somehow, while trying to get to the library, she had ended up in the foyer.. twice. She had been trying to help her friend, Eddy, get his book that he had just finished back to the library. Turning to the male of the hour, she sighed. "I'm horrible with directions, so I'm sorry I can't help with the book." Faye wasn't exactly sure why her friend wanted her to accompany him on the way to the library. When she asked he had told her that he "couldn't reach the shelf the book should go on." which didn't sit well with her. Either he was once again plotting a way to get her to spend time with him or he was calling her short. She started going down a hallway she thought they haven't gone down going on a search for the fabled library. "Is this really important to you, Eddy?"Walking down the hallway with Edd, he half-dragon was beginning to wonder if she'd ever find it. She really didn't want to put up with his short jokes and 'apologies'. However, somehow Faye had managed to not get lost and ended up the library.
    After her adventure to the library, which was very.. entertaining, and it had taken some maneuvering to make sure Edd didn't see her leave or where she was going.She had decided to go to the ballroom, silently hoping no one else was there. It had been a while since she last played the piano, and she had heard from the maids about how they disliked cleaning the one in the ballroom. Faye knew pianos weren't exactly the easiest things to clean, but she didn't think it was too bad. 'Now here's to hoping that there's no one else in here,' was all on her mind as she entered the elegant space.
    Edd had been giving Faye a bit of bad advice on getting to the library, though she hadn't noticed his little antic. Following along after her down the hallway, he took time to appreciate all the random things that he saw. "Hmm? Oh yes this is very important to me, I'm just simply too tall to reach the shelf the book needs to go on." He knew that Faye didn't like being called short, so naturally he did it often. He glanced down at the shorter female, who now seemed to be ignoring him. Looking at the doors as they passed by, he 'apologized', "Now I know you don't like being called short," He looked at Faye, who was now paying attention to what he had to say. "And I know I shouldn't do it, but maybe you shouldn't be short if you'd like to avoid short jokes." And just like that he ruined the female's mood and she started speed walking away. Edd simply chuckled before jogging to catch up. "Aw I know you love me!" he teased, not expecting a real response. Just like he expected, he had gotten no response, however Faye had stopped in front of the door that he recognized as the library. Edd grinned at her and patted her head, and walked into the library. He might just stay here for the rest of the day. Scanning the shelves, he found the place where the book he had borrowed and put it back. Now, Edd was roaming the library, looking for a new book being his priority.
Prince of the Damned|LeMarc|Head Butler|Half-Demon|Tagged: Lark, lil vamp, boi
    LeMarc takes off after the distant sound of a scuffle, not typically the sound heard when breaking things and the young miss were put together. It tended just to be her breaking a glass and not being able to navigate around the debris, or something like that. Franz would be fine, probably...This was the more urgent matter now.
    Without even thinking about it, the butler reaches out and grabs onto Larkin's hand, tugging him along so they can keep pace together. He doesn't even manage to school the worry evident on his features as he dashes towards the source of the catastrophe. LeMarc knows the whole manor down to its dust. He has an unworldly knack for tracking down problems, which was probably one of the main reasons the staff were so afraid of him. Hard to get away with something when the head butler will suddenly appear right around the corner to scold you. It's easy to track down the little vampire through this, though, and soon they are turning into the kitchen doorway, skidding to a halt as he sets eyes on the scene before him.
    The vampire. The glass. The man. The blood.
    Well, good thing his demonic features had hid away by now. No reason for some random creature to see him horned and on fire. Granted, LeMarc does not remember the name of the man whose blood is ruining the nice, (previously) clean kitchen floor (he'd have to steam the floor to get rid of all the bacteria, ugh what a mess this was). He was aware the man was a guest, and seemed pretty shady at his time of arrival, but other than that, well...Guests don't really take precedent over the Stoker family in LeMarc's book. At this point, practically everyone who showed up at their door was just a punk in comparison.
    "Mademoiselle..." The butler utters in surprise at seeing the young miss kneeling in a puddle of blood. "...Your poor dress."
Lady of the Lake|Eadgyd|Edith|Homeless|Kelpie|Tagged: 'some stupid northerner', 'stolen prey'
    "Eat him?!" Eadgyd calls out, aghast. She yanks the boy back towards her in a game of human tug-o-war, glaring at the northerner. "Ew, gross! What do you think I am, a bleedin' brag?" Of all the things this guy could say to her, this is apparently the most offensive. "Ugh, no, have you seen him? He's filthy! I was just going to drink his tears then steal his secrets before dragging him to the bottom of the lake and watching as he slowly, painfully drowns to death. You think aem an animal or somethin'?"
Prism Princess|Emilia Stein|Tourist?|Abnormal Human|Tagged: Open
    Emilia Stein steps out of the cab she had grabbed from the closest airport, which really wasn't close at all. She's dressed in the approximation of a small-town incognito outfit, were that small town to be full of bright colours and high heels. It was almost the exact sort of thing a child would pick out if they were trying to be a spy; a pale blue trenchcoat, reflective sunglasses with heart-shaped lenses, and wide-brimmed sunhat. Luckily, this does do a decent job of concealing her face, but even the sundress underneath is of an expensive make. This is not a local girl.
    She hands over more than three hundred dollars of fare to the driver to compensate for the ride and gas before tugging out her designer travel bag and kneeing the door closed. The car rides off, leaving the young woman standing alone on on the street corner, utterly lost at what to do next.
    She'd heard all about this place after two months of vigorous research and exchanging money with some rather dubious individuals. It was known for strange happenings and even stranger people, especially in the big manor just outside of town. If she was going to find answers, this was a good place to start. Emilia flexes her grip on her bag, hands gloved, always gloved, as she glances around her. "Okay...Where does someone find a hotel in this joint?" She mutters to herself, flicking down her shades so she can get a better look at the street.
Arc Heilburg-Ludwig
18 yrs / Human / Male / Tags: Stella
──────────────────
Arc watched Stella with eyes that saw right through her lies. Of course he had heard her the first time but he wasn't willing to argue with her. There was something she was keeping secret that she didn't want him to know about. Some sort of manor that he wasn't allowed to know about. Or go to. He was bound to figure her out, he just needed some time. He narrowed his eyes a little and shrugged
"Fine.. Per'aps I just heard you wrong.." he sighed and sat down on his bed with a huff
"But I still don't have any money.. I'd haff to.. steal some..."
He groaned gently and rubbed his face, whimpering to himself. He sat with his head in his hands, breathing in and out before lifting his head
"I just do not know vaht my life is going to. I just vant to fit in.. I vant it to be easy."
Vengal he watched Alex and chuckled lightly, running a hand through his hair slowly to fix it and looked down a little bit. The man felt a little bit of blush rise to his cheeks as he shrugged and nodded at the same time.
"I'm glad to be here too... honestly.. because I'm also glad I've had the opportunity to have met you." he replied with a grin towards the other past his purple hair. He puffed and flicked his hair aside as he lifted his head and watched the man set food on a tray and then turned to ask him help out.
He was quick to hop off the counter to move over to grab some bowls to help.
"Oh yeah.. yeah sure I'd be happy to help." he replied with a nod, moving to get the door for the other with a dopey grin/
Bush was being fought over, the man who was trying to help him with his violin just came forwards and grabbed his arm. He was happy to have the stranger on his side, but they were still pulling on him. He was scared and upset, crying to himself as they pulled and tugged.
"I just want to go home! Please!" he howled while struggling against Eadgyd, pulling his arm. But Eadgyd yanked him back towards her and he staggered, tripping and falling into the water with a splash. He coughed and sputtered while shaking his head and whipping his hair out of his eyes
"Please!" he gasped again, weakly trying to pull away again, water dripping off his hair
"I don't want to die.."
