Alex wiped the tears away.
"Yeah, yeah...I-I'm okay..." She lied, beginning to pick up the cooking ware.

[Boomer]

"You don't sound okay." she murmured. Alessa helped her pick up the pots and pans. "I thought you had to rest your leg." she said, "You shouldn't be cooking if your leg hurts."

Alex glanced toward Alessa.
"Oh no, I wasn't cooking...I was hiding..." She confessed, ashamed of herself.

[Boomer]

"How come?" she asked, frowning some. She looked around, not seeing Kit anywhere. "What happened?" she questioned, offering her paw to Alex. She really wanted her friend to rest her leg.

Alex retold the events.
"A-As I was finishing cleaning up the glass shards, Kit walked in. He looked so mad and frustrated, but stayed a fair distance away from me. I-I guess he noticed the brace because he kept telling me off that I'm just useless and weak...s-so I fled to the kitchen." She rubbed her arm uncomfortably.

[Boomer]

"Kit is wrong." she said, shaking her head, "Don't listen to him... he's just mad that he got in trouble." She then hugged Alex, hoping she'd forget about Kit's bad behavior. "I'll finish cleaning up. You really need to rest your leg." she told her. Alessa then went into the hallway and picked up the rest of the vase.

Alex was a bit reluctant to agree, but Martha guided her toward a dining chair and set her down. She then smiled.
"Princesse's wishes, therefore you must sit here while I prepare a light dinner."

[Boomer]

Alessa tossed the pieces into the garbage and sat with Alex. She looked over to Martha and flicked her tail. "I'll... wait out in the dining room." she said, not wanting a repeat of last night. She left the kitchen and sat in the dining room.

Martha nodded as she began taking out pots and such. When Alex saw Alessa, she lightly waved.

[Boomer]

Alessa returned a wave to Alex before leaving. She yawned a little as she waited patiently. The pup talked to Scarlett to help pass the time. As the sun was going down, she knew Kit would be allowed out of his room soon.
