Hey guys! I apologise for my absence, but I needed some time to think some things about this roleplay through. (Don't worry, I'm not deleting the roleplay!)
I was mainly just giving the plot line that I had laid out in my head a run-through and decided it was way too vague for my liking, so I am going to be adding more information as well as revamping the front page.
I realised I was being too vague and loose about the plot, and I'm sure it was a little confusing, so I'm going to clarify that. Thirty years ago, a group called the Watchers was formed, a group loosely based on a local legend in Wistakia. Matthew Barnes, Simon's father, was the founder. Their goal? To successfully genetially engineer a human and give them superhuman abilities. They recruited intelligent scientists and went to work on their project. Six years later, and they believe that they have a way to alter a human's dna to give them different abilities. Many of the scientists had young or unborn children, so they persuaded the scientists to allow their children to be tested on. Matthew even offered up his own son, Simon. Unfortunately, the experiment was a fail. Many of the children died, with very few surviving. Simon was one of the surviving few. Matthew refused to be discouraged by the failure, however, and continued work on the experiment. At this point, many scientists quit, but Matthew shrugs it off and hires more. Within a month, all of the scientists who resigned go missing. Six more years go by, and Matthew is once again ready to experiment on humans. This time, he was able to get children from the public to experiment on. The experiment was a success, as no one died, but no immediate effects were exhibited by the subjects. Disappointed, Matthew returned the subjects to their families. Fast-forward eighteen years, and the kids are all in high school. Simon has taken over the Watchers and had an idea. What if he was to put the subjects under a situation of extreme stress, such as a blackout where the teachers disappear, and, to go even further, somehow remove all of the adults in the city? And that's what he did.
I hope that clarifies things! I am planning on putting forward a few more plot suggestions/ ideas. Let me know if you have any suggestions or are confused about anything!

Oooh okay! Yes that does clear things up. Gah I really want this RP to happen. I love superpowered humans and non of the other RPs seem to be that interesting? I haven't really been in any high-action RP. Will we still pick up where we left off or will we start over? New characters?

also, no idea what to do with Henrietta...the other person posted their guy saying all doors are locked, or unlocked, but she and he arent near each other...

I was thinking Hen would report back to simon and they'd get their new prompt and meet up again. But it mostly depends on what exactly they would be doing next.

Simon was bitter at first, but he grew to accept the fact that his father experimented on him and actually became grateful for it.
Heni and Oli can go back to the facility or kind of do whatever once they're finished for right now. :3
