Clara let out a sigh of relief, knowing that the horses were safe and back in the barn. She wanted to go back to the barn with Mayia and Daeron, just to make sure nothing happened to them, but she had to remind herself that they would be fine. At least either of them wasn't alone; then things could get bad. Even during a festival like this, bad things could always happen.

Her stomach growling violently once again caused her to grimace; she had completely forgotten her rowdy stomach. With a sheepish smile, she returned back to the tavern, searching around for her guild; it wouldn't be all that hard to find 11 people, right? And everyone in the guild sure didn't look like they were a part of the festival; they were dressed for traveling, and everyone's clothes were ripped from their trip through the Potuani forest, still.

She felt a pang of relief when she noticed a few familiar faces; being alone wasn't exactly something that Clara was accustomed to; she hated being alone; almost more than she hated mountains, which said a lot. She paced over to them, smiling brightly before taking a seat next to Adrian; she was closest to him, she supposed. As she noticed the barman heading off towards the kitchen, she groaned with frustration. "Just my luck," she muttered, leaning her elbows forward on the table and slouching leisurely, her position showing her irritation ever-so-slightly.

((Bleh, writer's block post. I've seriously lost my muse.))

(Psh, you're too hard on yourself. That post was just great. :) )

Adrian Mallobourne of Albava

The young man soon found his traveling companions after walking further into the tavern. They were seated around a table near the back of the building, and he made his way over to them, sitting down tiredly in a chair that wasn't next to anyone else's. He seemed to have made it just in time to order, choosing a nice plate of yellowfin as many of the others seemed to. He was already quite a fan of fish, and trying a fancy new kind - which was apparently delicious - struck his fancy.

Glancing around the room for a moment to see who all was there - and in turn, who all wasn't - he shook his head to see that Clara was nowhere to be found among the many other people. 'That girl...' he thought with a sigh, ordering one more dish of yellowfin before the barman turned to leave. Even though Clara wasn't quite on the list of people Adrian highly respected, she was like a sister to him, and he wouldn't hesitate to help her out, even with the little things. Of course, he would never admit it.

Quite soon after that, Adrian felt an agitated Clara slump down in a chair next to him. A light smirk drawing up the corner of his mouth, he peered at her out of the corner of his eyes. "There you are, finally. Late as usual," he murmured, the tone of his voice right on the line between being serious and simply messing with her. "I guess you'll have to starve now."

Suddenly, Vethro returned to his seat, waving about a peice of paper. "Rooms?" Adrian questioned, having been too distracted to even notice Vethro had gone anywhere in the first place. "A good night's sleep sounds amazing right about now... A nice break from a mossy forest floor, hm?"

(( (: Thanks, Lacy, but, well, my brain's kinda telling me otherwise :3 ))

Clara groaned once again in response. "Shut up, Adrian. I was worried about the horses, alright? It's not my fault I apparently missed our bartender." She muttered, looking around the tavern. She could see basically everything she would've expected to be in a tavern; musicians, other customers - just no bartenders. She huffed out a sigh. "And I won't starve, I have your food I can easily take." She said, a smirk crossing her lips, her eyes challenging him.

She knew it wouldn't be easy, but she was determined to have some of the yellowfin that Adrian had; they were both from the desert oasis of Albava; fish like the yellowfin weren't exactly common there; Mayia had said earlier that it was a delectable fish; she wanted to try some of it desperately.

When Vethro returned to the table, she tore her eyes off of the dish, observing the paper he had gripped in his hand. Rooms - she had forgotten that they would need those; she wouldn't be camping out one more night when they could easily stay in the tavern's inn. "Thanks, Vethro, the thought of booking some rooms complelety passed over my head." She said gratefully, hoping that Adrian wouldn't be making a crack about her lack of thinking overall.

((Yay (: ))

Adrian Mallobourne of Albava

Adrian's smirk widened at her sharp retort, and he turned his sidewise glance to view Clara face to face, wearing the same challenging expression as she. "Oh yeah? You'll have to fight me for it first..." He withdrew one of his smaller knives and twirled it skillfully around two fingers. And of course, saying something about Clara forgetting about rooms did come to his mind, but he quickly decided to hold himself back that time. He didn't want to go too far...

Eventually, the barman returned, extra plate of fish in hand, and he set it down in from of Clara before leaving once more. Whistling innocently, Adrian returned his knife to it's holder, reclining in his chair while nonchalantly glancing about the room once more. He hoped to get a nice drink now, to wash the fish down with. In the meantime, he took in the wonderfully fragrant, warm, buttery smell of the food, stomach growling angrilly at him all the while, as if wondering why he was waiting so long to take a bite.

He finally noticed a barmaid coming toward their table, skillfully carrying three mugs in each hand. Adrian waved her down, and she wandered over, setting a drink down in front of anyone who didn't deny recieving one. Mallobourne handed the barmaid a gold coin before she turned to go, and lifted his mug to his lips. Ahh, just what he needed..

Clara raised an eyebrow; fighting with Adrian would be interesting. She rarley ever won against him, and they had been sparring ever since they were young. She had her left hand on one of the sheaths on her twin swords, hesitating slightly. It was a practice fight, she reminded herself. But today was a Festival; a day of celebration. She didn't want to be the person to break the peace, making the Knights of Rhodernia even more infamous. She sighed. "Adrian, I don't want to fight but-"

She was interrupted by a mouthwatering aroma filling the air right under her nose. She looked down, grinning from ear to ear; she wasn't a fisherman, but knew that this was definitely a yellowfin. The bartender returned, and Clara couldn't be any happier. She quickly thanked the man before turning towards everyone else once again. "Whoever ordered this for me, I seriously owe you." She said towards the guild; she wasn't sure who had ordered an extra plate after all. Picking up a fork between her fingers, she eagerly cut a piece of the fish, popping it into her mouth.

The taste couldn't be described; it was sweet, tangy; basically, it exceeded her standards. She continued on to stuff her mouth completely full with the fish. She didn't care that she wasn't being 'lady-like' at the moment; she was starving, and the fish was completely amazing in her opinion.

Jak finally located the guild, striding across the large tavern room in a few strides, his long legs covering the ground quickly.
"Did anyone order anything for me?" he asked as he pulled up a chair, pushing his blonde hair back with one hand. It was getting long, and he knew he'd have to cut it soon. It was getting in his eyes. "And if anyone did, did they remember to order me vegetarian?" He knew that his choice to abstain from meat if possible was a strange one, but he couldn't help but feel sorry whenever he ate meat, thinking of the animal's life that was taken so he could eat.

Daeron remained perfectly still as Mayia expertly bound the gash.
"I am sorry, did I say something amiss?" He quiered, puzzled when her expression changed again.
When she had finished, he touched it lightly, saying "It is well treated."
He glanced around the stable, taking note of the two horses owned by guildmembers.
Each had been well cared for, as far as he could tell.
"Is there anything I can help you with?"

((I'm confused to what is going on so I'm just going to post this...))

Elenwen's food soon arrived, and she sat down eating it as she watched her compangions and the rest of the tavern interact. She liked to watch what people did, how they reacted. You could find a lot out about someone by how they delt with different situations. She let her mind wander, with the music drumming in her ears she began to think of her past. She remembered back to when she had danced with her clan, when they had traveled form place to place, sharing their gifts with people. After a long, happy time everything went south; people began to acuse them of witchcraft, they kidnapped them in the night and burned them. She barely had escaped with her life, she had traveled for many years on her own until she had met up with the rest of the knights. Elenwen shivered at the thought of her past and decided to focus on the conversation of her fellow knights.
Hi. Sorry, but this account has kind of been done for years now.
Thank you for such a nice time on the site.

Vethro kept quiet. He gave his guildmembers a cold look when they started to attract attention from nearby people, sitting at tables. He nudged Jak, hinting that he needed to be as quiet and normal as possible. No one could now who they were.
Vethro furtively looked around the room, pleasantly surprised that everybody in the Tavern's dining room was focused on their own things. He spotted a rough, tawdry farmerman, with a polished sword. In his mind, Vethro noted to himself to steer clear of that man - he was dangerous.
