having someone tell you that you smell nice while they hug you

lying in your bed at night and listening to all the sounds of cars and trains going by and drunk teenagers arguing in the street and stray dogs barking in the alleys and songs being blasted in passing cars and knowing that the world around you is alive and beautiful

Gentle rains while the sun is shining
Genuinely wholesome conversations with random people that don't seem forced at all
Finishing an amazing book and just sitting there for a few minutes and silently savoring the journey
Completing a task you've been wanting to do for a while and just feeling achieved
Listening to the same song on repeat because it means something to you that you can't explain and no one can take away

seeing a girl quickly reapply her lipstick in a bathroom or with a pocket mirror
standing at the beach and feeling the cold water nip at your toes

- hour-long text conversations, beginning at around 9:30pm and ending at about 10:30pm, in which there is no clear topic and you are instead just bouncing from deep discussions about life to joking around to back again
