Blu tilted her head slightly in confusion; she didnt understand the mother comment. She crouched down to smile at the pup. "I'm sorry sweetheart. I had to get my new uniform, and.." she trailed off. Her smile revealed teeth that had been filed down to the point they were incredibly dull and a lot less effective at eating.

[Boomer]

Alessa looked at the uniform first, then noticed her teeth. Alessa appeared a bit startled. "T-that wasn't how you looked before, w-was it?" she asked, "W-why'd they do that?"

Blu ran her toungue across her teeth with a slight flinch. She sighed softly. "They did it to make sure I'm one hundred percent safe for you to be around, dear. Look, they did it to my claws to. Only.. at least they'll grow back to normal.." Blu showed Alessa her dull claws, before shaking her head. "Nevermind, lets not be too negative! I'm sure I'll learn to cope. And it's worth it to look after a wonderful pup like you," she purred, smiling once more.

[Boomer]

Alessa's eyes widened a bit. She hadn't ever heard of that procedure before. The fact that Blu wasn't acting upset really troubled the girl. "T-they d-didn't have to do that!" she said, shaking her head, "That's just cruel... I-I'm sorry. It's my fault t-they did this." She clung onto Blu, ears lowered and tail tucked. Alessa was also afraid she'd have her teeth pulled or filed down like that too.

[Lemon Tea Rain]

"Oh no Alessa, don't say that. It's not your fault.. I agreed to it in order to look after you. Really, don't worry.." Blu tried to reassure the pup when Jax came around the corner. Blu jumped to see him in a husky form, assuming it was a stranger. "Who-"
"Don't worry. It's me, Jax. I see you found Alessa." He barked. Blu smiled and nodded. "Yes, your highness."

[Boomer]

"It's horrible they suggested it in the first place." she stated, shaking her head again. Her grip tightened as Jax walked over to them. She really didn't want to go anywhere with him, especially now that she was a bit paranoid.

[Lemon Tea Rain]

"Well, me and Alessa are going to go shopping now, so you aren't needed." Jax said calmly. Blu glanced down at the uncomfortable pup then meowed "Actually, your highness, I was wondering if I could join you two? I could help Alessa when she wants to try on outfits and it will help me settle into my new job." Jax thought over this before nodding and barking "Alright, fine. You remember the rules, don't address me as you highness while we're out, don't stray too far etcetera etcetera." Blu nodded, smiling again.

[Boomer]

Alessa slightly relaxed, but she wasn't totally at ease. She still didn't want to go out in public looking the way that she did. The girl slowly let go of Blu and walked with her. It was obvious that she felt more comfortable with Blu than Jax.

[Lemon Tea Rain]

Blu offered Alessa her paw to hold, smiling down at her gently. "So, we're going to hurry to the first shop to buy Alessa some clothes she can wear when she's out of the palace. She can change into those as soon as we've bought them." Jax explained to Blu. He seemed to have made a habit of talking like the pup wasn't in the room.

[Boomer]

Alessa was quite used to being talked about rather than talked to. She took Blu's paw as she silently walked with them. She wondered why they were going to multiple shops, but didn't ask about it. She didn't feel like getting a snarky answer from Jax at the moment.
