Azka, thanks for pointing that out, i was thinking all the time what the deerfur reminded me of, lol

I like the yellow dog a lot , the chickens are sweet, the cats but the best are these, already played a little dressup.. i love the colors


Oh and not to forget the butterflywolves, i love their wing texture and the color scheme

I wasn't too keen on the yellow pup, but the adult form is gorgeous!

I think saikayo said the theme of the deer was vaguely space-y? (somewhere in this thread)

The moth horses are one of my favorite litters ever!

Was there any confirmation what animals the guinea pigs were based on?

The overarching 'theme' is just the palette, though I gave it some royalty and night sky vibes.

Is there a theme for this month's butterfly wolves? I really like them!

Saikyo talked about them on page 30!

If you're curious about the theme I was originally just doodling and seeing what I could come up in grey scale (first outcome) starting off with a light grey and building it up with darker greys. It started looking almost husky like so I made that the theme and each outcome features a different type of husky coloration/markings with light to dark curves/stripes and spots. It was mostly improved but it got me working on some really cool shapes/patterns.

Are the two butterfly wolves below based on any specific type/colouration of husky? I have begun a hoard of these two outcomes, and I would love to name the hoard group accurately! <3

While not based off of any particular markings I did base them off common colors. Those two are blond (the cream one) and pure white (the blue one. It's blue because I already had 2 grey tones and if it was cream it would be too close to the blond one. It's also a reference to the snowy coon and leaf, because sled dogs)

The other colors are grey, black, red and brown (on my phone so linking pics would be tricky sorry </3)

Thank you, this helps a lot! And thank you so much for creating these beautiful butterfly wolves in the first place! Butterfly wolves are my favourite species, and I was thrilled to see some beautiful new markings, particularly on the wings! <3
