Hello ! I' a pretty big furry dweeb : )
My sona is Vosa, a chihuahua x nordic spitz !

I am currently making a tail for my friend, shoe .
I'm a bit frustrated rn bc my sew machine is from the 50s ( it works rlly well but doesn't auto pull the fabric through ) and because I dont have any pins to hold the fabric in place while I sew . I also didn't number my pieces well enough and got the order of the pieces mixed up and messed up while sewing : /
I'm taking a break from making it for now because I need a breather from my struggles .
This isn't my first tail, but is my first in a while . Also my first time using good quality furs ! I am using minky fabric to make this tail : )

I suggest a faux fur or luxury shag, since minky tends to shed a lot.

Its a rlly short pile, like what most people use to make plushies out of .
Plus it is what my friend wanted to use for her tail ! Since her sona is a whippet : )

Aw, sounds cute! I was only basing it off my experience w/ minky, although yours might be different

I do appreciate the advice ! So far the minky seems to only be shedding when I cut it, and even then it isnt too bad .
The only other fur I worked with was rlly low quality and shed more than my rabbit ( which is a hard feat to achieve LOL ), so maybe I just don't notice the amount of shedding compared to the only other fur I worked with ?

Ok, so I have been hoping to go to MFF recently (not confirmed, but definitely possible) and I realized I may have a bit of a predicament. See, I have OCD and people wanting to touch my fursuit or get into my personal space when they are dirty can really set me off to the point where I could have a panic attack. If I were to go to the con, my mom would be there as my handler. What would be the best way to deal with this? Could I make a badge or something? Any advice is appreciated! Tysm! God bless!

Since its a furcon most people will always ask before hugging you and such. You will get bumped into accidentally quite a bit though, no one can see well lol. It should be fine though, i've never had an issue like this at a con before(I've suited at 10 now, 4 of those were MFF). If anything does happen though most furs are very friendly and understanding and there is con security and volunteers in most areas :3

Been a long time since I've posted, thought I'd share my work from the past several months

I think last time I posted I was working on a husky partial. As of now I have completed three partials and one fullsuit and have two more heads in progress.

These are the first three fursuits that I've made

The last two faces in this photo are foam bases that I recently made and am getting ready to fur

I started my first suit last summer so now it's been over a year since I began making suits. I'm planning on opening commissions for the first time in the end of March next year. <3
