Xander smiled at the thought. "Sure I wouldn't mind learning how to ride!" He crunches into his bread. "I haven't rode any horse in a long time, so I am probably not that great at it. But I'll try. we can start after eating."

Catherine smiled lightly at him after swallowing more food “That’s okay, it’s actually not too difficult and my mom’s horse is good.” she responded before eating more of her food. Her mom’s horse had always been patient and easy to handle, her dad’s however had been known to be stubborn.

Xander nods and smiles. "Then I am glad to learn if it is from you." He eats more of his food and is happy to be learning how to ride a horse, though unsure how he is going to do. He gets up and goes to get drinks for the both of them. Getting back and putting a glass down next to her.

Catherine watched him leave while she ate more food before he returned. “Thank you,” she said and smiled politely before she drank some of the water. She was glad to have a little bit of downtime with him to keep their mind off the craziness before everything starts up.

"No problem at all Catherine." He sits back down and drinks some water then finishes his food up and drinks the rest of his water afterwards. Then he waits patiently for Catherine to finish her food. Wondering what how riding a horse is going to go still.

Catherine finished her food and then her water before placing her silverware on the plate so that it would be easier to clean up. “Ready to go?” she asked with a little smile as she looked over at him. She was excited to take the horses out again, and to show him.

Xander nods smiling. "I am indeed ready! I am still a bit nervous. " Xander gets up and is ready to head over to her house with her. "Hopefully it isnt that hard."

Catherine smiled as she got up from her chair “I’ll help you, just like you helped me.” she told him as she bumped his shoulder playfully. She linked her arm through his as she walked beside him towards her house.

Xander smiled and let her link arms. "Good I might need it." He kept walking with her, going through the town and more open-air roads so people would be able to see them and witness if anything happened. After some time they finally reached her house and Xander looked around.

Once they reached Catherine’s house, she unlinked her arm from his and took his hand instead to lead him. “Come on,” she said with a smile and motioned with her head to a path that led around to the back yard. She lead him back to their barn where the horses were currently in their stables and released his hand. “I’m going to saddle the horses, and then we can get going.” she told him as she grabbed the stuff for riding the horses.
