Name: Stitch
Gender: Molly
Prompt:
This little girl doesn’t have such a great history, but if it weren’t for anything that happened, she wouldn’t be my amazing girl that she is today.

Stitch was born in Miami, Florida, the breeder who bred her parents was illegal and was also known for inbreeding. Luckily Stitch wasn’t inbred. But someone caught the breeder and he was later sent to jail. All the cats and kittens were sent to animal shelters, breaking up families in the process. Sadly Stitch was separated from her mother and siblings when she was 9 days old and never saw them again, so she really didn't know or have much of a bond with them. But another mother simply took her in.
The animal shelter took care of her new family until they were ready to go to a new home. Stitch was out in a cage with her ‘siblings’ and waited until she got adopted. While she was waiting she was able to grow a bond with two other kits named Valma and Trick.
The first time she got adopted didn’t end well..she ended up back in the shelter with the other two siblings who didn’t get adopted. The next time she got adopted it happened again, but she was in the cage alone.

The last time she ever saw that shelter again was the day she got adopted but was then put out in a box outside a laundry Matt. Stitch knew she wasn’t ever going to be a family cat so she jumped out of the box and wandered the streets. She got jumped a couple of times by a few other strays feeling threatened but never touched her. Stitch made her way through garbage cans and piles of garbage in search of scraps, she was willing to eat anything at this point because of how hungry she was.
She found a box and laid in it, then it started to rain. Just her luck. She didn't know why she never found a family. Was it because she always climbed on things? Or maybe because she really wasn't a playful kitten? Well, she'll never figure out that reason.

This older man was walking his dogs, a big grey fluffy dog and small brown dog that seemed to have trouble walking.
The tiny dog looked at her and barked. He ran up and started sniffing her, she was scared. Even though the dog wasn't much bigger than her he still frightened her as she has never seen a dog before. The small dog gently pulled her out and licked her, the human picked her up and put her in the pocket of his raincoat. She was warm and cozy and felt safe, which she hasn't felt since she left her birth mommy. When they got back to the man's house he took her out and sat her on a counter in the kitchen.
His house was big, and he also didn't have just dogs, he had other cats! Quite a bit of them actually. Two of them came running in and looked at the tiny kitten. This beautiful molly jumped onto the counter and just laid next to her, started grooming her and cuddling her as a mama cat would. Her name was Iridescent and she was going to be an adoptive mom to Stitch.

Stitch didn't come with her name, her original name was Serena. It didn't fit her though so her new owner changed it. Stitch fit her much better. She had lost hope, but it was stitched back together when her owner picked her up for the first time. She was safe and finally found a new home.

Congrats! Despite being the only finished entry, I also really like the history you gave Stitch.
Enjoy your new cat!
