Hey Tess, staff and judges???. I am entering the cake contest with Desert Sunset. We ran into a little problem. I want to make sure I can submit on the 30th before 6PM Pacific time. I went to upload my photos today (Supplies shot, shot of cake made, photo of plans, etc... about 10 photos anyhow.) and my data cable decided it didn't want to work. Long story short is I have to try to get one tomorrow. If I can't find one here, it's about an hour to the closest other supplier and I can go the morn of the 30th. We live in a rural community. I want to make sure it's alright to submit our entry on the 30th by 6PM Pacific please. Thanks. EP

Any time on April 30th is fine, regardless of time zones.

Yes, you can submit up until Midnight on the 30th of April, (midnight in any timezone).

I have a big problem Tess. I took several in progress photos and the finished photos. Then I saved it on to my computer. Then my computer crashed and lost any data on and after the 28th of April. And I saved the photos on the 28th of April. And the cake is already half eaten. What should I do. Although I can try do something but I would like it to be private on telling you.

If you can't submit the photos, we can't accept your entry. Sorry. It might be worth submitting a photo of the half-eaten one. And did you erase the photos from your camera right after copying them to your computer? Unusual.

I'm really happy that, after 2 days of smelling/staring at my cake, I can finally eat it! Can't wait to see everyone's entries. This was a fun contest. It should happen again next year

It'll be a team of me and Tess, some of the mods and some other people . Not sure when the winners will be announced, it will at least take a week or two (we've got more than 434 entries to look through!).
