I recommend putting your puppy with the cats before she gets older other wise she will never have saw them, and right now the dog is about the same size as the cat so the cat won't feel as threatened.
Antlers are way to hard for such a young pup there better for adults. The best thing is too offer would be cows ears or pigs ears. You can break a puppies teeth on antlers.

I've had SO many puppies and they all had antlers, they were all fine. Do you know by experience or by reading it because I personally think antlers are great for there teeth and my vet knows I give them to my dogs and has said nothing about them being bad for them. I personally disagree, this is my opinion and you can have your own. Actually, if you look up "are antlers safe for puppies teeth" the first thing to pop up is yes they are great for them so I'm not sure where your getting your information from. I would also like to inform you that pig ears can cause disease and are not safe for puppies unlike deer antlers.

Experience I use to breed to GSD's it also states on the products themselves puppies older than six months. We also had a lurcher who broke a tooth on my old GSD's antler when she got hold of it.

are antlers safe for puppies
Yes! It is perfectly fine; actually it's extremely healthy to let your dogs chomp away on an antler. Deer or Elk antlers are safe for all dogs and greatly improve their dental health. Using antlers as a natural chew toy has become increasingly popular with the rising trend of using organic, natural ingredients for your pets in feed or treats.

Antler chews are horrible especially for teething puppies. Puppies are babies if you give them antler chews you will damage their teeth and risk a hefty vet bill for a fractured tooth. The only reason stores sell them is for adult dogs not puppies.
Even I know this and i am shocked you are giving an antler chew to such a young puppy but it's not my place to try and convince you otherwise just remember fractured teeth can happen.
I wouldn't riskfractured teeth just because internet says they are safe.

The best type of antlers for puppies are those cut in half there softer and easier to chew.
Antlers
Antlers are long lasting chews. They wear away when chewed and antlers don’t splinter (as readily as bones), which makes them a much safer option. Antlers are available in five sizes (small, medium, large, extra-large and… jumbo!) also are also available in “Lazy Dog” style; cut in half long-ways for the more laid back dog to get at the bit in the middle, these “lazy” ones are also fab for puppies who are teething as they are much softer. For an added bonus, you could try storing your antlers in your dog’s dry feed bin to make it taste and smell amazing.
You can also get small type ment for puppies so yes they are safe if you get the right type.
Not every antler is safe for puppies. I still wouldn't risk it and prefer chicken wings or claws for such a young puppy.

I didn't know what the internet said until ten minutes ago. I have always given antlers to my puppies and they are all fine, as I said, this is my opinion and you of course can have your own. But I have never had a problem with the antlers. And again, my vet has me watch her puppy and allows me to give them to her pup also, she is a great get and I trust her judgement. I'm sorry that I made an argument but I really believe that antlers are a WAY better choice that pig ears and such.
