"Sometimes being a neusince is just enough or all that is needed. Depends on the situation but it can occasionally happen. And don't call me a fool unless you want the royal silent treatment.", said the teen relaxing slightly as she spoke with the male. Her eyes flitting around the cooridoor every minute or two in order to make sure they remaind alone in the stone hall. It had been a close enough call with the prince, but she got lucky. Aralynn was able to talk down any questions he may have had regarded feeling being watched and change his attention to elsewhere. That and the young queen failed to realize perhaps a threat of being silent and not holding a coversation was something Duality prefered. When the issue of her eating a proper nutritional meal came up again the blonde sighed nodding. "Fine your concern for my health is here by noted. I'll be sure to watch what I eat from here on out at meals, just be carefull yourself about following me next time. I don't want to have to explain you to anybody. You can easily put me into a tight spot and I don't want or need that right now. It's a wonder I was able to shake Aki's wonder." Then, "Head pain?"

The fox shook herself again, nodding at the human and mouthing the clothes on the ground. Her own clothes, because of the transformation...She still hadn’t figured out how to...keep them on, or dematerialize them when turning into a fox. With that, she trotted smartly after Akira. “No...I want to go back, see that Kenji is alright.” she yipped. She hid behind the tree, turning back and quickly clothing, then walking back around.

He jolted when the dog barked and nipped at the air, though...nipping wasn’t as painful as a bite, he knew from the one time he’d had a puppy. He tilted his head when the muzzle moved from his neck to point at his lips. He sighed as he shook his head, glancing over the canine to see Ren and Ruby. He shivered, forcing his cheeks to cool down and stop it. He giggled softly when the canine pulled back his head and perked his ears, and was now able to pet him. He giggled quietly again, this time because the canine actually leaned into the pets. He jerked back as the canine bared his teeth...squeaking when the dog was yanked back from him.

He gulped as he saw the blood print, then the dog had turned to him with a snarl and glare. That wasn’t protective, was it? He was growling at him. Suddenly, the canine stopped the sounds as he turned his gaze up to the small crown Aki wore. He sighed softly as the growling stopped, though now the dog looked terrified... Hearing the whine, seeing the look, he nodded at the dog but also thought of something. “Let me actually pet you then, for a moment.” he said. He continued “If I’m going to go with you, then tell me you’re name.” He stared at the dog, waiting.

She hummed softly as he secured the weapon as he seemed to like, which actually worked for her too. She squeaked when she saw him looking at her, tilting her head. When he questioned her she shifted back and forth, clearing her throat. However, just as she was about to speak was when the dog took off. “Henrietta!” she called,mgesturing Fallon then rushing after her dog. She could hear the dog growling now too...

The dog glanced to Ren as he shifted into a bird himself. He had originally meant to guard the other vampire, but it appeared that he didn’t even bat an eye at their identities being revealed to the human heir. Normally Theo was the same way, however his nature had become more protective of his kind’s secrecy in the presence of a possible threat. Now that it didn’t appear to have much of an affect on the situation though, he calmed down and even wagged his tail a bit. It was one way to let off steam, right?

Just as the eagle took off into the air, the canine almost jumped after him. “Good luck!” He ended up barking. The friends’ squabble was nothing to push his nose into, though he felt a bit fidgety upon being unable to help. It wasn’t as if he even had any close friends that he could base advice off of, so perhaps it was the best case to leave the two alone. Theo’s ears briefly lowered as he considered this, looking to the ground in thought for a moment before turning back to Akihito. He had quickly calmed down since finding that he was one of the human heirs, which was strange enough since he didn’t even know who the vampires’ heirs were, despite having traveled with one the entire way to Embera.

Upon hearing the surprising lack of protest and the conditions of Akihito’s companionship, a mischievous idea settled in his mind. “Yeah, I’ll let you pet me.” The dog looked to be shrugging, though only seconds after it morphed into a shadow that straightened into Theo’s human form. Two tiny fangs peeked out from his grin. Let’s see him try to pet him now. “The name’s Theodore, but I hate it so I just go by Theo. Care to tell me yours, princey?” The vampire’s legs itched to get him away from what was obviously a crime scene that linked back to him- the blood stains on his clothing alone make him a suspect, and rightfully so. Still, Akihito’s word was probably stronger than that and could easily get Theo into some trouble. He really had no choice but to comply.

He tilted his head a moment as he stared at the vampire turning into a bird. He too watched him fly off, eyes fixed upon the bird until it was but a point in the sky. He shook his head as soon as the bird was far enough away to be unidentifiable, turning his gaze back to the dog. He was surprised to find him wagging tail, though he’d just whined moments before...A small smile formed at his lips because of it. He picked up easily on the bark of Good luck towards the vampire-in-eagle-form, nodding his head quietly then letting go of a breath he seemed to have been holding. “Are they friends fighting?” he asked, seeing how the girl had run from the alley crying...He also could see the lowered ears of the canine, though was glad to no longer be snarled at, and thus his shoulders had relaxed a bit.

He hummed quietly as he glanced from the canine to the scene of the crime and back again. Well, there was the woman, but also that detective...He perked at being told he could pet, though tilted his head when the dog seemed to shrug. Seconds later he’d returned to human form, startling the heir, and he even squeaked seeing the fangs...They weren’t hard to notice this close. He was half tempted to actually reach out to the hair...However, he quickly stopped himself with a shake of the head. “Akihito...” he muttered, feeling a bit dizzy from all that had happened, but also because he was trying to keep another blush at bay. I mean, Theo was no longer standing as a dog but a human-looking male... “And, ano...where are you taking me, anyway?” he asked, as Theo was the one to say he had to go with him, not the other way around.

Ren landed on the roof of the cafe and looked down for Ruby. He shifted into his regular form and called for her. “RUBY WHERE ARE U!” He Shouted. Ruby had heard her friend calling and she ignored him. She just kept her head down. Ren got down from the roof and landed on the table Ruby was sitting at. “Hello friend.” Ruby screamed. “Ren..what are you doing here?” Ren shrugged. “I’m looking for food and new friends.” Said Ren sarcastically.

Theo perked his ears to try to listen in on his old partner’s conversation with his friend, though even with his enhanced senses it make no progress. Theo pursed his lips as he wondered why he even wanted to get involved, as this was not the drama he was used to stirring up and he had admitted to letting the two figure it out on their own. When Akihito guessed the situation the vampire nodded. “Something like that. I don’t really know the full details.” He murmured before spinning around to face the heir directly.

Violet irises followed the teenager’s hand as it almost reached out to pat his head, a low snicker escaping from Theo’s mouth when it didn’t. “Aww, I don’t bite. Much. Well, I wouldn’t bite you anyway.” He winked, though it was more to cover his humiliation from attacking the guy earlier than anything. Just as he was about to have his first immortal friend he had pretty much blown it- oh well, at least he was aware of Akihito’s status now.

Theo crossed his arms over his chest at the name, tilting his head ever so slightly to the side when he repeated it slowly out loud. “Ah-ki-hi-to, that’s a new one. Well, anyway I plan on picking your brain a bit after we run off together” -That comment was accompanied by flirtatious smile- “Originally I was gonna threat-er, persuade you not to freak out and alert your guards about us, but you’re awfully calm about this whole ordeal. As for the place... um, I don’t know this city well-enough, but I’ll figure something out.”

The vampire stiffened right as he finished talking, risking a glance to the mouth of the alleyway. His keen senses had picked up the sound of footsteps and horse hooves just a minute too late, and with a look of mild irritation Theo scanned the bricks in the wall for some easy footholds. He turned away from where the guards would enter and started climbing with ease, looking back to Akihito when he was about halfway up and throwing out his hand to hold his. “Don’t worry about getting your feet in the right place, I’ll just pull you up. Trust me.” The dark-haired supernatural shot an anxious look back behind the prince a few metres but had faith in his abilities.

Ren waited for an answer from his friend but she didn’t speak. In fact she wasn’t there anymore at all. He looked around confused. “She was right here!?” Exclaimed Ren, as he tried to make sense of what happened. Then something had occurred to him. Ruby only ran off when she was mad or hungry..or both. Ren shook his head and shifted into a falcon. He knew that she was probably going to try and feed off Akihito. Hopefully he’d make it before her and stop Ruby. Ren finally felt relieved when he spotted Theo and Akihito. He flew down to them in a hurry.

Fallon gave chase following after Konan, the sounds of growling now reaching them. Just what was going on? He didn't know Henrietta to be an aggresive dog or one prone to distractions like this.

He hummed as he nodded at the other male, quietly and at the same time gently saying “Okay.” He continued to hum softly, shaking his head a few times and pulling back slightly as purple eyes caught his. Pretty... Shaking his head, he huffed softly a bit at the male, then spoke back. “Why not, though?” was what he said, shaking his head once more. He hummed as the other male crossed his arms, then he was saying his name aloud, sounding it out. Dang, that was hot...He only blushed slightly, saying “It’s Japanese.” then dipping his head a bit. Well, his parents had been Asian...He did actually blush this time, because of the comment and the flirty smile. “Wh-Wh- Wh-“ he sputtered, seeming unable to form words for a moment. Shaking his head at himself, he glanced to the vampire once more. He shrugged at him, just saying “Sure.”

He didn’t hear the footsteps...Well, not for quite a few seconds, at least. He squeaked, tilting his head, when he then picked up on hoofbeats as well. Swallowing, the prince glanced to Theo, shivering a bit because it could be hunters...or a hitman. He watched his companion scan the wall, then turn away from the mouth of the alley. He whined when Theo began to climb, but then his hand was grabbed...He swallowed again, nodding at his vampire companion once more. He let himself be pulled along, though moments later...saw Ren coming back, guessing it was Theo’s would be friend. “Um, Theo...why is your friend or fellow vampire coming back, in such a hurry towards us?”

She whined softly as she rushed after the Afghan hound, mouth panting open after a bit and revealing the fangs. She reached where Henrietta was, squealing when she saw a wandering lynx domestic cat mix. It wasn’t a happy squeal...She stood frozen in place.

Ren approached Akihito and Theo as he was slightly out of breath. He gestured to Akihito. “He needs to go somewhere safe,before my friend comes. She’s hungry and I bet you five bucks she’ll try and feed off him.” Ren took a deep breath and shifted his big shoulders (he’s super tall and heavily built.) “I can hold her off for you if you want,or we could try explaining why she can’t feed off the prince.” Ren looked around nervously for Ruby. He knew Ruby was unpredictable when she hunted.

Ruby sat in some trees far enough from the boys so they couldn’t see her but she could see them. She licked her lips as she watched Akihito. The thought of tasting royal human blood excited her. Her different colored eyes glowed in the darkness as she scanned the area for ways to sneak attack Akihito.
